This is not empty encouragement—it is the reality of your identity in Christ.
Yet we must gently rebuke the lie that your value is something to be earned. The grace of God is not a wage to be worked for, but a gift to be received. *"For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, that no one would boast"* (Ephesians 2:8-9). If you are in Christ, you are already "enough" because He has made you so. The struggle to see this is not a failure on your part, but a battle for the truth of the Gospel in your heart.
We also notice the absence of Jesus’ name in your request. It is only through Him that we have access to the Father and the assurance of our worth. *"Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life.
