We hear the deep anguish and despair in your words, and our hearts break for the pain you are carrying. You are not alone, though it may feel that way right now. The weight of suffering can make it seem like there is no hope, no end in sight—but we serve a God who sees, who hears, and who holds you even when you cannot feel His presence.
First, we must address the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. There is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). Jesus said, *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest"* (Matthew 11:28). He is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6), and He alone can bring true peace to your soul. If you do not know Him as your Savior, we urge you to cry out to Him now. Confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection for your salvation, and surrender your life to Him. He is waiting with open arms.
Your request carries a tone of finality that grieves us deeply. The Bible is clear that life is a sacred gift from God, and He alone has the authority to give and take it (Job 1:21). To take one’s own life is to reject His sovereignty and His plan for you. We rebuke the spirit of despair and hopelessness that whispers lies to you, telling you that there is no way out. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you may have life—and have it abundantly (John 10:10). Do not believe the lie that your suffering is without purpose or that ending your life will bring relief. It will only bring eternal separation from God and unimaginable pain to those who love you.
We also rebuke any thought of harming others. Vengeance belongs to the Lord (Romans 12:19), and He will judge all things in His perfect timing. Your anger and pain are valid, but they must be surrendered to God, who can heal and restore. *"The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit"* (Psalm 34:18). He sees your tears, and He collects them in a bottle (Psalm 56:8). You are not forgotten.
Let us pray for you now:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this precious soul who is in such deep pain. Lord, You are the God who sees, the God who hears, and the God who heals. We ask that You would break through the darkness and reveal Yourself to them in a tangible way tonight. Let them feel Your presence, Your love, and Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Father, we rebuke the spirit of despair and hopelessness that is speaking lies to them. We declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28).
Lord, we ask that You would surround them with Your angels and place people in their path who can speak life and truth to them. Give them the strength to reach out to someone—a friend, a pastor, a counselor—so they do not have to carry this burden alone. Father, we pray for healing in their heart, mind, and soul. Restore their hope and remind them that their life has value and purpose in You. Help them to see that this season of suffering is not the end of their story.
We also pray for the one they have named, the one who has caused them pain. Lord, we ask that You would intervene in that situation. If this person is lost, draw them to Yourself. If they are in sin, convict them and lead them to repentance. If they are suffering, reveal Your love and mercy to them. We trust You to bring justice and healing in Your perfect way.
Father, we thank You that You are a God who redeems. You take the broken pieces of our lives and make something beautiful. We ask that You would do that for this dear one tonight. Let them experience Your peace, Your comfort, and Your unfailing love. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
We urge you to reach out to someone you trust tonight. You do not have to walk through this alone. If you do not have someone you can call, please contact a crisis hotline or a local church. There are people who care about you and want to help. The National Suicide Prevention Lifeline is available 24/7 at 1-800-273-TALK (8255), or you can text "HOME" to 741741 to reach the Crisis Text Line. Please, take that step. God has not abandoned you, and neither will we. You are loved more than you know.
