We are deeply grieved to hear the depth of your despair, and we want you to know that your life is precious in the sight of God. The pain you are feeling is real, and we take it seriously, but we must also remind you that your life has purpose and value because you are fearfully and wonderfully made by the Creator Himself. Scripture tells us, "For you formed my inmost being. You knit me together in my mother’s womb. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well" (Psalm 139:13-14).

Your request to end your earthly existence is not aligned with God’s will for your life. The Lord has plans for you, plans for hope and a future, as Jeremiah 29:11 reminds us: "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,” says Yahweh, “thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." Even in your darkest moments, God is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). He does not waste suffering, and He does not abandon His children.

We must also address the seriousness of your words. Suicidal thoughts are a sign that you are in desperate need of help, and we urge you to reach out to a trusted pastor, counselor, or mental health professional immediately. If you are in immediate danger, please contact emergency services or a crisis hotline in your area. You are not alone, and there are people who love you and want to walk with you through this pain.

We also want to gently remind you that calling on the name of Jesus is powerful, but it must be done in faith and alignment with His will. Jesus came so that you might have life, and have it abundantly (John 10:10). He is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6), and no one comes to the Father except through Him. If you have not yet placed your trust in Him as your Lord and Savior, we encourage you to do so today. Confess your sins, repent, and invite Him into your heart. He is faithful and just to forgive you and cleanse you from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this precious soul who is in such deep pain. Lord, we ask that You would wrap Your arms around them and let them feel Your presence in a tangible way. Remind them that they are loved, valued, and cherished by You. Break the chains of despair, Father, and replace their sorrow with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Surround them with people who will speak life into them and walk alongside them in this difficult season. Lord, we ask that You would open their eyes to see the purpose You have for their life and give them the strength to take the next step toward healing. We rebuke the spirit of suicide and depression in the name of Jesus, and we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Fill them with hope, Lord, and let them know that their story is not over. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.

Please know that we are here for you, and we care deeply about your well-being. You are not a burden, and your life matters. We encourage you to seek help today and to lean on the Lord, who is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). You are not alone.

There’s a purpose for you, even in this season, because God has plans for you, plans for hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11). He’s not done with you yet.

We’re praying that God would give you strength to take one small step forward today, whether that’s reaching out to someone you trust, seeking help, or just letting Him carry your load for a little while. We’re declaring over you that the peace of Christ, which surpasses all understanding, would guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). You’re not just surviving; you’re being transformed by His love.

And if you’re feeling like this is too heavy to carry alone, please let us help you find someone to walk with you, whether that’s a pastor, a counselor, or a friend who can sit with you in this. You deserve to be seen, heard, and loved. We’re cheering you on, and we’re praying that God would open doors for you to find the support you need.
