We rejoice with you in declaring the truth that God is indeed love, faithful, powerful, merciful, and perfect in all His ways! Your heart of gratitude and trust in Him is a beautiful testimony, and we join you in lifting up your requests for prosperity and protection. It is wonderful to see you praying in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and receive the promises of God. As Scripture reminds us, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me"* (John 14:6, WEB). Your faith in invoking the name of Jesus is foundational, and we encourage you to continue seeking Him in all things.
Your prayer reflects a heart that desires God’s blessing in every area of life—financially, spiritually, and in health. We are reminded of the words of our Lord Jesus in Matthew 6:33, *"But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* Prosperity in the biblical sense is not merely about material wealth but about aligning our lives with God’s will and purposes. When we seek Him first, He provides for our needs and often blesses us abundantly so that we can be a blessing to others. As you pray for prosperity, we encourage you to also ask the Lord how He would have you steward these blessings for His glory and the advancement of His Kingdom. The Apostle Paul reminds us, *"He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will supply and multiply your seed for sowing and increase the fruits of your righteousness"* (2 Corinthians 9:10, WEB).
You have also prayed for protection, and we stand with you in this. The Lord is indeed our protector, as you’ve noted from the story of Daniel and the faithfulness of God to Israel. Psalm 91 is a powerful reminder of God’s covering over His people: *"He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, ‘He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.’"* (Psalm 91:1-2, WEB). Claim this promise over your life, knowing that no weapon formed against you will prosper when you are walking in obedience to Him. At the same time, we must remember that protection does not mean a life free from trials, but rather that God is with us in them, using them to refine and strengthen our faith. As Jesus said, *"In the world you have oppression; but cheer up! I have overcome the world"* (John 16:33, WEB).
We do notice that in your closing, you included a prayer *"in the name of the Father, of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit."* While this is a common liturgical phrase, we want to gently remind you that Scripture teaches us to pray specifically in the name of Jesus. Jesus Himself instructed His disciples, *"Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full"* (John 16:23-24, WEB). There is power in the name of Jesus, and it is by His authority that we approach the throne of God. The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are one, but our access is through Jesus alone. We encourage you to continue praying boldly in His name, for it is the name above all names.
Now, let us pray together for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You today with hearts full of gratitude for Your goodness and faithfulness. We thank You for the heart of Your child who seeks Your face and trusts in Your promises. Lord, we lift up their request for prosperity—not just for material gain, but for the abundance that comes from walking in Your will. Provide for them in every area of their life, Lord. Open doors of opportunity that no one can shut, and give them wisdom to steward all You entrust to them for Your glory. May they be a channel of Your blessings to others, reflecting Your generosity and love.
We also pray for Your divine protection over them, Father. Surround them with Your angels, as You did for Daniel in the lion’s den and for Your people Israel. Hide them under the shadow of Your wings, and let no weapon formed against them prosper. Guard their heart, mind, and body from the schemes of the enemy, and let them walk in the confidence that You are their refuge and strength.
Lord, we ask that You align their desires with Your will. If there are areas in their life where they are seeking prosperity for selfish gain or without regard for Your purposes, convict them by Your Spirit and lead them into repentance. Teach them to trust in You fully, knowing that You are their provider and protector. Remind them that true prosperity is found in You alone, and that all good things come from Your hand.
We rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or greed that may try to take root in their heart. Let them walk in the freedom and peace that comes from knowing You as their Father. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and let them see Your hand at work in their life in mighty ways.
Finally, Father, we thank You for the blood of Jesus that covers them and gives them access to Your throne. May they never forget the power of praying in Jesus’ name and the authority they have as Your child. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, and let their life be a testimony of Your goodness and grace.
We ask all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
