God is love. (1 John 4:8) God's only law is this, "And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these." (Mark 12:30-31)
Love never fails, because God is love, and God cannot fail. Only God's love can truly satisfy us, only His love can fill the hole in our hearts. God's love is endless. He loves us, despite our failings and shortcomings. He knows we are sinners, impure and imperfect, but He loves us regardless. He loves us so much that He sent His only Son, Jesus, into the world to suffer and die for our sins, so that we through the grace of God might be saved. God hates the sin, but He loves the sinner.
Jesus died for our sins and through His blood alone we are cleansed, saved, and forgiven. We do not deserve heaven, none of us do. It doesn't matter how good or how bad you are. We cannot earn a place in heaven. There is only one path to heaven, and that is through Jesus. There are no shortcuts.
Once you have accepted His love and His forgiveness, you are saved. You cannot lose your salvation. God has pardoned your past, present and future sins. They are all washed away by His blood.
The Bible says, "Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool." (Isaiah 1:18)
If you are not sure if you are saved or not, pray this prayer, and you will be saved and have eternal life.
"Lord Jesus, I confess that I am a sinner. I accept that I can be saved by You, and You alone. Please come into my heart and life. Please forgive me my past, present, and future sins. Grant me the gift of the Holy Ghost. I ask that You cleanse me, purify me, and make me more like You and less like me. I believe in You, Jesus. Thank you for saving me."
