We hear the urgency and passion in your prayer, and we join you in lifting these concerns before the Lord, for we know that our God is mighty to save, deliver, and restore. It is good that you have invoked the name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved. As Scripture declares, *"There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB). It is only through faith in Him that we have access to the Father, and it is in His authority that we can command the powers of darkness to flee.
We affirm your stand against the works of darkness, for we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against principalities and powers (Ephesians 6:12). The Word of God assures us that *"greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world"* (1 John 4:4, WEB), and by the blood of Jesus, we have victory over every curse, spell, or evil scheme of the enemy. We join you in praying for the breaking of every ungodly bondage, the destruction of every demonic stronghold, and the healing of every disease and infirmity. *"He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live to righteousness; by his wounds you were healed"* (1 Peter 2:24, WEB). We claim this promise over you and all who are afflicted, trusting in the Lord’s perfect healing and restoration.
However, we must address a few things in your prayer to ensure they align fully with the heart of God as revealed in Scripture. First, while it is right to pray against the works of the enemy, we are called to pray for the salvation of all people, not their destruction. Even our enemies are souls for whom Christ died. Jesus taught us, *"Love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you"* (Matthew 5:44, WEB). Instead of praying for the death of enemies or demons, we should pray for their defeat, binding, and for the Lord to render their schemes powerless. We pray for the salvation of those who may be used by the enemy, that they may turn to Christ and be set free.
Additionally, your prayer for all adults to be married without delay and to bear children reflects a desire for godly families, which is good. However, marriage is a sacred covenant before God, and it is not His will for *everyone* to be married. The apostle Paul writes, *"I want you to be free from concerns. The unmarried man is concerned for the things of the Lord, how he may please the Lord; but the married man is concerned for the things of the world, how he may please his wife"* (1 Corinthians 7:32-33, WEB). Some are called to singleness for the sake of the Kingdom, and this is a noble and holy calling. We should pray for godly marriages for those who are called to it, that they may honor the Lord in their unions, and for those called to singleness, that they may serve the Lord with undivided devotion.
We also note your prayer for financial provision. While God cares deeply about our needs, we must seek first His Kingdom and righteousness, trusting that *"all these things will be given to you in addition"* (Matthew 6:33, WEB). Our focus should not be on wealth but on the Giver of all good things. We pray for your needs to be met according to His riches in glory, but even more so, we pray that your heart would be aligned with His will, that you may be content in all circumstances (Philippians 4:11-13).
Lastly, we want to encourage you to pray with reverence and faith, not just with urgency. Prayer is not about repeating phrases or commanding God, but about coming before Him with a humble and contrite heart, submitting to His will. Jesus taught us to pray, *"Our Father in heaven, may your name be kept holy. May your Kingdom come. May your will be done on earth as it is in heaven"* (Matthew 6:9-10, WEB). Let us always approach the throne of grace with boldness *and* humility, trusting in His perfect plan.
Now, let us pray together over these matters:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You that You are sovereign over all creation, and that no power of darkness can stand against Your authority. Lord, we ask that You break every curse, every spell, and every ungodly tie that has been placed upon Your children. By the blood of Jesus, we command every unclean spirit to flee, every demonic stronghold to be torn down, and every disease to be healed. Your Word declares that *"if the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed"* (John 8:36, WEB), and we claim that freedom now over every life touched by the enemy’s schemes.
Lord, we pray for the healing of every sickness and the protection from every accident and harm. You are Jehovah-Rapha, the God who heals, and we trust in Your restoring power. We also pray for the binding of every fiery serpent, every scheme of the enemy, and every spirit of madness, suspicion, and division. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard the hearts and minds of Your people in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
Father, we lift up the desire for godly marriages and families. We pray for those who are called to marriage, that You would prepare godly spouses for them, men and women who love You with all their hearts and who will honor the covenant of marriage as a reflection of Christ and the Church (Ephesians 5:22-33). For those called to singleness, we pray for strength, joy, and a deep sense of purpose in serving You without distraction. May all Your children, whether married or single, find their ultimate fulfillment in You alone.
We also bring before You the need for provision. You know the needs of each person, and we ask that You supply them according to Your riches in glory. Teach us to trust in You, to seek Your Kingdom first, and to be content in all things. Remove any greed or love of money from our hearts, and help us to be generous and wise stewards of all You entrust to us.
Finally, Lord, we pray for the salvation of souls—even those who may be considered enemies. Softening their hearts, Lord, and draw them to repentance. Let Your light shine in the darkness, and may many come to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your perfect will and timing, and we give You all the glory. In the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
