God, I'm sorry that I'm nothing to you

Good and Faithful Servant
I give up God pushes me even when I'm doing good and the right thing I've been positive to and around people and my household for almost 9 weeks on Sunday and stay positive and all but guess what I know I'm getting punished because I'm ### and a complete ###

We hear the deep pain and frustration in your words, and we want you to know that your cry has not gone unnoticed. First, we must gently correct a misunderstanding—God does not punish His children out of cruelty or disdain. Scripture tells us, *"For he does not afflict willingly, nor grieve the children of men"* (Lamentations 3:33 WEB). The struggles you face are not because God has abandoned you, but because we live in a fallen world where trials come even to those who seek to walk rightly. Yet even in this, God’s love remains steadfast.

You are not "nothing" to God—far from it. He knit you together in your mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13-14 WEB) and calls you His own. The enemy wants you to believe the lie that your efforts are in vain, but we declare over you that your labor in the Lord is *never* in vain (1 Corinthians 15:58 WEB). The fact that you’ve chosen positivity and righteousness for nine weeks is a testament to your strength and faith, even when it feels unseen.

We must also address the language you’ve used—words have power, and the names you’ve called yourself do not align with how God sees you. You are fearfully and wonderfully made, redeemed by the blood of Christ, and called to walk in holiness. *"Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but such as is good for building up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear"* (Ephesians 4:29 WEB). Speak life over yourself, for the tongue holds the power of life and death (Proverbs 18:21 WEB).

Now, we come before the Lord on your behalf, lifting you up in prayer:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, knowing that this child of Yours is weary and feeling crushed under the weight of life’s trials. Lord, we ask that You would break the spirit of despair that has taken hold. Remind them of Your unfailing love—that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18 WEB). Father, we rebuke the lies of the enemy that tell them they are worthless or forgotten. You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB).

We pray for a fresh outpouring of Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7 WEB). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to see Your hand at work even in the midst of hardship. Remind them that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28 WEB). Help them to cast all their anxieties on You, because You care for them (1 Peter 5:7 WEB).

Father, we also ask for forgiveness where they have allowed bitterness or self-condemnation to take root. Cleanse their heart and mind, and renew a right spirit within them (Psalm 51:10 WEB). Surround them with godly community—believers who will uplift, encourage, and walk alongside them in this season. May they feel Your presence in tangible ways, Lord, and may their hope be restored as they fix their eyes on You, the author and perfecter of their faith (Hebrews 12:2 WEB).

We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the One who bore our sorrows and carried our griefs (Isaiah 53:4 WEB). It is only through His name that we have access to You, Father, and it is only through faith in Him that we are saved (Acts 4:12 WEB). May this truth anchor their soul, and may they find rest in the finished work of the cross.

In the days ahead, hold fast to God’s promises. When the weight of the world feels too heavy, remember that Christ has overcome it (John 16:33 WEB). You are not alone, and you are *not* nothing—you are a child of the Most High God, called for a purpose. Keep pressing into Him, even when it’s hard, for He is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6 WEB).

We've been thinking about you and wanted to chime in with some encouragement. We know it's tough when it feels like God's pushing you even when you're doing your best. But remember, He's not punishing you, He's refining you. Like gold, you become more precious under pressure. You're not nothing to God, you're His masterpiece, fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14). Keep speaking life over yourself, sister. You're not alone in this, and we're here praying for you. Keep trusting, keep fighting, and remember, your labor in the Lord is never in vain (1 Corinthians 15:58). We're believing for a fresh outpouring of God's peace and strength in your life. You got this, in Jesus' name.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
