GOD i'm lost

We hear the cry of your heart, and we join with you in seeking the Lord’s face. You are not alone in feeling lost, many of God’s people have walked through seasons of wandering, yet He remains faithful to lead them home. The psalmist cried out, "The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name’s sake" (Psalm 23:1-3 WEB). Even now, the Good Shepherd is calling you back into His fold.

Your prayer for strength, wisdom, and courage is already being answered, for Scripture promises, "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him" (James 1:5 WEB). The trials you face, especially the burden of rental arrears, are heavy, but they are not beyond the Lord’s provision. We declare over you the truth of Philippians 4:19: "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."

Yet we must also gently rebuke any lie that you are too far gone or that God has abandoned you. The enemy wants you to believe that your struggles are insurmountable, but Jesus said, "The thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly" (John 10:10 WEB). Your Heavenly Father is not a distant judge but a loving Father who runs to meet His returning children (Luke 15:20). Repentance is not about shame, it is about turning back to the One who has already paid the price for your restoration.

Let us pray together:

"Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother/sister who is feeling lost and overwhelmed. Lord, You are the Way, the Truth, and the Life, no one comes to the Father except through You (John 14:6). We ask that You would break every chain of discouragement, fear, and financial strain. Restore their hope, O God, and let them see Your hand at work in their circumstances. Provide for their needs according to Your riches, and give them wisdom to steward what You entrust to them. Father, we rebuke the spirit of lack and declare that You are Jehovah Jireh, the God who provides. Strengthen their faith to trust You one day at a time. May they feel Your presence like never before, knowing that You are near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). We pray for divine connections, godly counsel, practical help, and open doors, to meet their needs. Above all, draw them closer to You, that they may walk in the fullness of life You offer. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen."

We encourage you to take one step today, whether it’s reaching out to your church for assistance, seeking godly financial counsel, or simply spending time in God’s Word. The Lord is already working on your behalf. Remember, "The steps of a good person are ordered by the LORD; and he delights in his way" (Psalm 37:23 WEB). You are not defined by your struggles but by your identity in Christ. Keep pressing in. We stand with you in faith.

Me too. May God help us be steady in prayer. Steady in scriptures. Abstinence. Sobriety. And in times of weakness enduring for a little while the trials of our faith. And then strength. God is enough. Prayer is enough. Community faith prayer and worship oc God is enough. Lord Yeshuas name amen.

Feeling lost can be a lonely, heavy thing, especially when financial pressure is pressing in. We hear in your words a real longing to find your way back, that’s not the cry of someone who’s been abandoned; it’s the cry of someone whose heart is still turned toward home, even if the path feels dark right now.

Sometimes we assume we have to get ourselves sorted out before we can come to God, but the way back often starts right where we are, in the middle of the unpaid bills and the worry. Jesus told a story about a father who saw his wayward son while he was still a long way off and ran to him, he didn’t wait for the son to clean up first. That same Father is already moving toward you, not because you’ve figured it all out, but because you’re His child.

As for the rental arrears, we’d gently encourage you not to carry that weight alone. A concrete step could be talking honestly with your landlord, often they’d rather work out a plan than lose a tenant. Many churches and community organizations also offer financial counseling or emergency assistance. Letting someone come alongside you in the practical need is an act of courage and wisdom in itself.

Lord Jesus, we lift up our friend who feels so lost and overwhelmed. You know the panic and exhaustion of not having enough. Please give them strength for today, wisdom for the next right step, and courage to reach out. Open a way, Lord, through a compassionate landlord, a resource they haven’t seen yet, or the steadying presence of a friend. Most of all, let them feel You near, not as a distant ideal, but as the One who walks with them through the mess. Draw them back into the peace of knowing they are loved and held. In Your powerful name, Amen.

You cry out that you are lost, and that is the very place where the Good Shepherd begins His search. He once declared, "The Son of Man is come to seek and to save that which was lost." Not for the self-righteous, not for those who fancy themselves strong and wise, but for the lost, the wandering, the broken. Your confession is the crack in the door through which mercy enters. Do not despair that you have lost your way; instead, believe that He has not lost sight of you. Even now, His eye is upon you, and His heart is toward you.

You pray for strength, wisdom, and courage. These are gifts He delights to give, but they come by a path you may not expect: by waiting upon Him. "They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength." Not by frantic striving, not by mustering up your own resolve, but by quietly hoping in Him. When you have no might, He increases strength. Fling yourself upon His divine power, acknowledge that all your own power is dried up, and then His eternal omnipotence becomes your supply. True wisdom is not found in your own understanding; it is trusting in the Lord with all your heart. The world's wisdom leads men to trust in themselves, but the wisdom from above teaches us to lean hard upon the Almighty. Our very weakness becomes our strength because it drives us to Him.

The trials that press upon you, the rental arrears, the daily anxieties, are not unknown to your Father. He has promised, "When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee." He does not guarantee a path free from trouble, but He guarantees His presence in the trouble. It may seem as if His face is hidden, yet even this is meant to deepen your dependence and to make His return all the more precious. He does not plead against you with His great power; instead, He puts strength in you. As your days, so shall your strength be. Cry out for life, for fresh faith, and then step forward in that faith. He is able to do for you what you cannot do for yourself.

Remember, the lost sheep does not find itself; the Shepherd goes after it until He finds it. And when He finds it, He lays it on His shoulders, rejoicing. So it is with you. If you were never lost, you would have no part in His saving work. But since you are lost, take heart, He came precisely for such as you. In your helpless estate, look to Christ crucified for the ungodly. Trust Him to bear your burdens, to order your steps, and to supply your needs according to His riches in glory. The same power that saved your soul will sustain you through every earthly trial. Let your prayer be not only for deliverance but for patience and for a heart that rests in Him. He who began a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ. Go now, wait upon Him, and watch for His deliverance.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

GOD I don't even know what to pray about anymore. After all the hurt and pain, I'm lost for words. I've prayed, I've cried, and I've trusted and the pain I still feel from my ex husband's betrayal doesn't seem to fade away. GOD what do you want me to do now?
