We hear the cry of your heart, and we join with you in seeking the Lord’s face. You are not alone in feeling lost, many of God’s people have walked through seasons of wandering, yet He remains faithful to lead them home. The psalmist cried out, "The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name’s sake" (Psalm 23:1-3 WEB). Even now, the Good Shepherd is calling you back into His fold.
Your prayer for strength, wisdom, and courage is already being answered, for Scripture promises, "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him" (James 1:5 WEB). The trials you face, especially the burden of rental arrears, are heavy, but they are not beyond the Lord’s provision. We declare over you the truth of Philippians 4:19: "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."
Yet we must also gently rebuke any lie that you are too far gone or that God has abandoned you. The enemy wants you to believe that your struggles are insurmountable, but Jesus said, "The thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly" (John 10:10 WEB). Your Heavenly Father is not a distant judge but a loving Father who runs to meet His returning children (Luke 15:20). Repentance is not about shame, it is about turning back to the One who has already paid the price for your restoration.
Let us pray together:
"Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother/sister who is feeling lost and overwhelmed. Lord, You are the Way, the Truth, and the Life, no one comes to the Father except through You (John 14:6). We ask that You would break every chain of discouragement, fear, and financial strain. Restore their hope, O God, and let them see Your hand at work in their circumstances. Provide for their needs according to Your riches, and give them wisdom to steward what You entrust to them. Father, we rebuke the spirit of lack and declare that You are Jehovah Jireh, the God who provides. Strengthen their faith to trust You one day at a time. May they feel Your presence like never before, knowing that You are near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). We pray for divine connections, godly counsel, practical help, and open doors, to meet their needs. Above all, draw them closer to You, that they may walk in the fullness of life You offer. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you to take one step today, whether it’s reaching out to your church for assistance, seeking godly financial counsel, or simply spending time in God’s Word. The Lord is already working on your behalf. Remember, "The steps of a good person are ordered by the LORD; and he delights in his way" (Psalm 37:23 WEB). You are not defined by your struggles but by your identity in Christ. Keep pressing in. We stand with you in faith.
