God, I'm BEGGING you again tonight, as I have for a year now, to please please PLEASE take me in my sleep tonight. In Jesus name, amen.

Beloved of All
Please take me ASAP, preferably peacefully, painlessly and without anyone going with me. I'm in so much emotional pain, I'm a burden, I'm trash/garbage that needs to be taken out, I'm a useless eater, and I'm a waste of time/space/resources. According to the POTUS's campaign rhetoric, I'm also an evil demon (anyone who opposes him is evil and democrats are demonic - this makes me an evil demon). I suspect that his supporters would be glad to see me gone. It would save the government money, the most important thing now. It's my patriotic duty to die.

Please relieve my pain and give them what they want so badly: a reduction in the number of people who oppose their worldview. In my case it won't be because I switched to their side but because I died. I'd really rather die than become a Christian nationalist and/support that man/his cruel policies. Better for me to die now, in my sleep, than at their hands (we unfortunately know from human history that human behavior can lead to really awful things and I'd rather not die at their hands - in my sleep would be better, and that would be one less person whose blood is on their hands).

I don't matter. My life is over. I have nothing more to give. I have no hope. I do not think things will ever improve. I want out.

PLEASE

We hear the depths of your despair, and our hearts ache with you. The pain you are carrying is real, and the weight of it is heavy—but we want you to know that your life *does* matter. You are not trash, you are not a burden, and you are certainly not a "useless eater." You are a human being made in the image of God (Genesis 1:27), fearfully and wonderfully crafted (Psalm 139:14), and your life has value—not because of what you do or don’t do, but because God says so.

The words you’ve used to describe yourself—"evil demon," "waste of space"—are lies from the enemy of your soul. Satan comes to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), and right now, he is whispering these things to you because he wants you to believe them. But we rebuke those lies in the name of Jesus. You are not a political pawn, you are not expendable, and your suffering is not unseen by God. He collects every tear in a bottle (Psalm 56:8) and knows the number of hairs on your head (Luke 12:7). He sees you. He loves you. And He is not finished with you yet.

We must also address the seriousness of what you’re asking. Suicide is not God’s will for you. It is a permanent solution to a temporary—though agonizing—pain. The Bible tells us that our days are numbered by God (Psalm 139:16), and it is not our place to cut them short. We are called to endure suffering with hope, knowing that God can use even the darkest moments for His glory and our good (Romans 8:28). You may not see a way out right now, but God does. He is the God of the impossible (Luke 1:37), and He can redeem even this.

You mentioned that you’d rather die than become a "Christian nationalist" or support certain policies. We understand that politics can be deeply divisive, and it’s okay to have strong convictions. But we must remind you that your worth is not defined by any political leader, party, or ideology. Your identity is found in Christ alone. If you do not yet know Him as your Savior, we urge you to consider the truth of the Gospel: that Jesus died for *you*, personally, while you were still a sinner (Romans 5:8). He did not wait for you to "get it right" or align with a certain worldview. He loved you first, and He offers you eternal life—not because of anything you’ve done, but because of His grace (Ephesians 2:8-9).

If you are a believer, we encourage you to cling to the promises of God. The psalmist cried out, *"Why are you cast down, O my soul? And why are you disquieted within me? Hope in God; for I shall yet praise Him, the help of my countenance and my God"* (Psalm 42:11). Even in the depths of despair, hope is not lost. God is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18), and He is able to lift you up.

We also want to gently challenge the idea that your death would be a "patriotic duty." Life is sacred, and every person has inherent dignity. The world may try to convince you that you are a burden, but God says you are His beloved. The world may tell you that your pain is meaningless, but God can use it for His purposes. The world may say you have no hope, but God is the God of hope (Romans 15:13).

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this precious soul who is in such deep pain. Lord, You see their suffering, and You know the weight of their despair. We ask that You would wrap Your arms around them right now and remind them of Your love. Break the lies of the enemy that tell them they are worthless, that their life doesn’t matter, or that death is the only way out. Replace those lies with Your truth, Lord. Remind them that they are fearfully and wonderfully made, that You have a purpose for their life, and that You are with them in this darkness.

Father, we ask for Your healing touch. Bring comfort to their heart, peace to their mind, and hope to their spirit. Surround them with people who will speak life into them, who will remind them of Your love, and who will walk alongside them in this season. Lord, if they do not yet know You as their Savior, we pray that You would reveal Yourself to them in a powerful way. Let them experience Your grace, Your mercy, and Your unconditional love.

We rebuke the spirit of despair and suicide in the name of Jesus. We declare that this is not the end of their story. You are the God who turns mourning into dancing (Psalm 30:11), and we trust that You can do that for them. Give them the strength to hold on, even when it feels impossible. Remind them that joy comes in the morning (Psalm 30:5), and that this night of suffering will not last forever.

Lord, we also pray for wisdom and discernment for those who can support them—friends, family, counselors, or pastors. Give them the words to say and the actions to take that will point this person back to You. Help them to see the signs of their pain and to respond with compassion and urgency.

Above all, Father, we ask that You would be their hope. When they feel like giving up, remind them that You are their refuge and strength (Psalm 46:1). When they feel alone, remind them that You will never leave them nor forsake them (Hebrews 13:5). And when they feel like their life has no purpose, remind them that You have plans for them—plans for good and not for harm, to give them a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11).

We trust You, Lord, to work in this situation. We believe that You can bring beauty from ashes and turn their mourning into joy. We ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus, the name that is above every name, the name that brings salvation, healing, and hope. Amen.

Dear friend, we're here with you, holding your hand through this storm. We know it feels overwhelming, like you're drowning in a sea of despair. But we want you to know, you're not alone. We're right here, and we're not letting go.

We hear your pain, your frustration, your feeling of being trapped. We understand the weight of emotional agony, the feeling of being a burden, a waste. But let us tell you something, something that's easy to forget in the thick of it all - you are loved. You are not trash, you are not a burden, you are not a waste. You are a child of God, fearfully and wonderfully made, with a purpose and a plan.

We know it's hard to see that right now, especially when you're feeling so low. But remember, even the darkest night will pass. The sun will rise again, and there's a reason for every dawn. God sees you, He knows your pain, and He's right there with you, every step of the way.

We're not going to lie to you, we don't know what tomorrow holds. We don't know if your circumstances will change overnight. But we do know this - God is faithful. He's carried you this far, and He won't abandon you now. He's got a plan, a purpose, and it's good. Trust Him, even when it's hard.

We're here for you, to listen, to pray, to walk with you. Please, don't give up. There's a reason to keep going, even if you can't see it right now. You matter, your life matters, and God is not done with you yet.
