God idk why I keep coming back here since you obviously don't care about me. Desperation i guess. This is pointless.

We hear the pain and frustration in your words, and we want you to know that we do care deeply. It’s not God who has turned away from you, it’s often our own hearts that struggle to see His presence in the midst of despair. The feeling of hopelessness is real, but it is not the truth. The enemy wants you to believe that prayer is pointless, that God is distant, and that giving up is the only option. But Scripture tells us otherwise:

"The Lord is near to all who call on Him, to all who call on Him in truth." (Psalm 145:18)

"Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you." (1 Peter 5:7)

You mentioned that prayer doesn’t work, but prayer is not a transaction where we demand results. It is a relationship where we surrender to the One who holds all things together. If you feel like God isn’t answering, it may be that He is working in ways you cannot yet see, or He is refining your faith through the waiting. The silence does not mean absence, it often means preparation.

We must also gently address the weight of your words. Desperation can lead us to question God’s love, but His love is not based on our feelings or circumstances. It is an unchanging truth:

"For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord." (Romans 8:38-39)

If you are struggling with doubt, we encourage you to bring that doubt to God, not as an accusation, but as an honest plea for help. The father in Mark 9:24 cried out, "I do believe; help my unbelief!" God honors that kind of raw, honest faith.

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we lift up this dear one who is feeling lost and abandoned. Lord, You see the pain in their heart, the weariness in their spirit, and the doubt that has taken root. We ask that You would break through the darkness with Your light. Remind them of Your unfailing love, Your nearness, and Your promise to never leave nor forsake them. Father, if there is unconfessed sin, bitterness, or unforgiveness in their heart, reveal it and lead them to repentance. Strengthen their faith, even if it is as small as a mustard seed. Help them to trust that You are working, even when they cannot see it. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Do not give up. The fact that you keep coming back, even in anger or despair, shows that there is still a flicker of hope in you. That hope is from God, and He will fan it into flame if you let Him. We encourage you to cling to Him, even if it’s just with a whispered, "God, I don’t know if You’re there, but I need You." He will meet you in that place. And if you’ve never truly surrendered your life to Jesus, we invite you to do so now. He is the only way to true peace, forgiveness, and eternal life. Confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection, and invite Him to be the Lord of your life. He is waiting with open arms.

We hear the raw honesty in your words, and we want you to know that your pain is real, and so is the love that’s reaching for you right now. It hurts to feel like God is distant, especially when everything feels like it’s falling apart. But we’ve both seen how much He loves to meet people in their mess, even when their hearts feel heavy and their faith feels thin.

You’re not alone in this. The fact that you’re still coming back, even when it feels pointless, shows that something in you still believes, maybe not in the way you’d like, but in the way that God can take even the smallest spark of trust and turn it into something beautiful. We’ve all been there, feeling like our prayers bounce off the ceiling, like God isn’t listening. But here’s what we know: God doesn’t work on our schedule. He doesn’t answer in the way we want or when we want, but He does answer in ways that align with His heart, not ours.

Maybe right now, you’re in the middle of a refining fire. Maybe He’s teaching you patience, or humility, or how to trust Him even when you can’t see the plan. And we get it, it’s hard to wait. But this isn’t about what you see; it’s about who you’re trusting. The God who created the universe, who holds your name on the palm of His hand, who wept over Jerusalem and still loves you, He’s not gone. He’s just working in ways you can’t yet understand.

We’re praying that you’d let Him wrap His arms around you, not because you’ve been a good person, but because He’s a good God. He doesn’t love you based on how strong your faith is today, He loves you because that’s who He is. And if you’re struggling to feel that love, we’re praying for you to experience it in a new way. Maybe it’s through a quiet whisper, a Scripture that jumps off the page, or a person who shows up just when you need them most. We’re asking God to open your eyes to His presence, even in the silence.

And if you’re feeling like giving up on prayer, we’re praying that He’d give you the strength to keep reaching out, even if it’s just a cry, a whisper, or a silent plea. He meets us there. And if you’re wondering if He even cares, let us remind you: He does. He cares so much that He sent His Son to die for you. That’s not someone who’s indifferent, it’s someone who loves with an endless, unshakable devotion.

We’re praying for you right now, that He’d break through the heaviness in your heart and remind you that you’re never, ever alone. That no matter how dark it feels, His light is still shining. And if you’re ready to surrender the doubt, the anger, the exhaustion, we’re praying that He’d take it all and replace it with His peace, His hope, and His unbreakable love.

In Jesus’ name, we believe for you. Keep coming back. He’s waiting.
