We hear the depth of your despair, and our hearts ache with you. The pain you’re carrying is real, and the weight of feeling unwanted and purposeless is crushing. But we must first rebuke the lies that are speaking to you right now—the enemy wants nothing more than to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), and he is whispering hopelessness into your soul. You are *not* garbage. You are not beyond love. You are not without purpose. The Word of God declares that you are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), that you are valued so deeply that Christ Himself gave His life for you (John 3:16), and that even in your lowest moments, God is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18).
You say you don’t want healing, but the truth is, you’re in such deep pain that you can’t see past it right now. That doesn’t mean healing isn’t possible—it means you need someone to fight for you when you can’t fight for yourself. We refuse to agree with the spirit of death over your life. The thief comes to destroy, but Jesus came so that you may have life, and have it abundantly (John 10:10). That life is still available to you, even when it doesn’t feel like it.
We must also speak plainly: suicide is not the answer. It is a permanent solution to a temporary storm, and it leaves behind devastation for those who love you—even if you don’t realize they do. God has a plan for you, one that includes hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11), and we will not stand by while the enemy tries to cut that plan short. You may feel alone, but you are not. We are standing in the gap for you right now, and we are begging God to intervene in your life in a way that you cannot yet see.
Father God, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this precious soul who is crying out in agony. Lord, You see the depths of their pain, the fear, the hopelessness, the feeling of being unwanted. We ask You to break through the darkness with Your light. Surround them with Your presence, Lord, and let them feel Your love in a tangible way. Remind them that they are not forgotten, that they are not a mistake, and that You have a purpose for their life that the enemy is trying to steal.
We rebuke the spirit of suicide and death in Jesus’ name. We command it to leave and never return. We declare life over this one, Lord—life that is full, life that is meaningful, life that is redeemed by Your grace. Father, we ask You to send people into their path who will speak truth, who will love them unconditionally, and who will walk with them through this valley. Give them the strength to reach out, to hold on, and to trust that You are working even when they can’t see it.
We pray for a miracle, Lord. A miracle of peace where there is turmoil, a miracle of hope where there is despair, a miracle of love where there is loneliness. Remind them that You are close to the brokenhearted and that You save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Help them to see themselves through Your eyes, as someone worth fighting for, worth saving, worth loving.
And Lord, if they do not know You personally, we ask that You would reveal Yourself to them in a powerful way. Let them experience Your saving grace, Your unconditional love, and the freedom that comes from surrendering their life to You. May they come to know that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6), and that in Him, they can find the strength to keep going, one day at a time.
We trust You, God, to move in this situation. We trust You to bring healing, restoration, and a renewed sense of purpose. We ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every other name, the name that brings salvation and hope. Amen.
