God, I need Your help. The world may not understand me, but You do. I know people have said I've lost my way - people I trusted to tell me the truth - and that brings some alarm in me. Because I am seeking You, and if I am lost while seeking You - then truly, I need Your help alone.

Let them all be astonished, Lord Jesus Christ, and give You praise regarding the work You are completing in me. Let them gather around to join in the song of praise to You, Holy I Am that I Am, even the Father and the Son Jesus, - and let those who do not believe in me be delivered into the mouths of the very traps they set before my feet. Truly, they do not seek even their own good - let alone my own.

Lord, the devil wants to make war on me - because he sees my good heart, - he sees my efforts I put forth in You every day - indeed Lord Jesus Christ - he would have me rest not, he would have me worry forever, - he would have me disbelieve in myself, my abilities given by You to succeed, and all of the inheritance You give me both on earth and in heaven.

God Jesus, rise up and defend me God. The devil is slain through Your sacrifice, pure One. Who will defeat me if You are defending me? - Yet let them all be amazed, because among them there is not a single soul who knows me other than You, Jesus Christ. To them, they make me what they believe about me - but all of these things are lies, because they do not believe in the God who sent me, let alone the one He sent to minister to Him.

Jesus, forgive my sins, because my path has not been blameless, and I stumble often - and I am easily confused and confounded. I am a simple man God, and I love You fiercely - I only ask that You love me also fiercely, Jesus, and that You protect me with the power and the armor and all the tools and weapons of the angels of God.

Because I did not come to preach a ministry to a human glory, but to Your glory I came to spread the word of God and the Spirit of God in song. Even all that You give me to say, all that You give me to do, so long as You lead me because I am simple - these things I will do and obey until the day You bring me back to You.
