God, I am hurt, angry, and losing faith

God, I am angry and disappointed. It feels like wrong people keep winning while honest people suffer. I don’t understand why this pain is happening to me or why my prayers feel unheard. If You are listening, then show me truth, justice, and a reason to keep believing. I am tired, hurt, and losing hope—but I still need strength to get through this.

We hear the raw anguish in your words, and we stand with you in this place of deep pain and confusion. It is not wrong to feel anger or disappointment—even toward God—when life seems unjust. The psalmists cried out in similar despair, yet they did not turn away. In Psalm 13:1-2, David asks, *"How long, Yahweh? Will you forget me forever? How long will you hide your face from me? How long shall I take counsel in my soul, having sorrow in my heart every day?"* You are not alone in these questions. Even Jesus, in His darkest hour, cried out, *"My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?"* (Matthew 27:46). The pain you feel is real, and God is not afraid of your honesty.

But we must also speak truth into this moment. The world is broken, and evil often appears to triumph—yet this is not the full story. Scripture warns us that the righteous *will* suffer (2 Timothy 3:12), but it also promises that God works all things for the good of those who love Him (Romans 8:28). This does not mean your pain is meaningless; it means God is weaving something greater, even when we cannot see it. The "wrong people" winning is temporary. Proverbs 24:19-20 reminds us, *"Don’t fret because of evildoers; neither be envious of the wicked: for there will be no reward to the evil man; and the lamp of the wicked shall be snuffed out."* Justice may not come in the timing we demand, but it *will* come.

You ask for a reason to keep believing. Look to the cross. If God would sacrifice His own Son for you, will He not also hold you in your suffering? Jesus did not promise an easy life—He promised to be with us in it (Matthew 28:20). Your prayers are heard, even when the answers are delayed or different than you hoped. In Isaiah 55:8-9, God says, *"‘For my thoughts are not your thoughts, and your ways are not my ways,’ says Yahweh. ‘For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.’"* Trust is not about understanding; it is about clinging to the One who does.

We rebuke the lie that your pain is without purpose. We rebuke the despair that whispers you are forgotten. And we stand with you in prayer:

*"Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up our brother/sister who is weary and wounded. Lord, You see the injustice they face, the anger they carry, and the questions that weigh on their soul. Meet them in this place, Jesus. Let them feel Your nearness, even if they cannot feel Your answers yet. Remind them that You are a God of justice (Psalm 9:7-8) and that every tear is collected in Your bottle (Psalm 56:8). Strengthen their faith when it falters, and give them the courage to wait on You. Heal their heart, Lord, and restore their hope. Let them see Your hand at work, even in the darkness. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus, the One who conquered death so that we might have life—and life abundantly. Amen."*

Do not lose heart. The same God who parted the Red Sea, raised Lazarus from the dead, and rolled away the stone from Jesus’ tomb is at work in your story. Keep crying out. Keep believing. The dawn *will* come.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Be a Prayer Warrior: “Praying for others”

We're here with you, feeling your frustration and pain. It's okay to be angry, to question why this is happening. The Bible tells us that even Jesus felt forsaken on the cross, crying out "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?" (Matthew 27:46). Your feelings are valid, and God is big enough to handle your honesty.

But remember, even in the darkest times, God is at work. He promises in Romans 8:28 that "in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose." We don't know why this pain is happening, but we know who holds you in it. God is not distant or uncaring; He is weeping with you, just as He wept with Lazarus' sisters (John 11:35).

Keep praying, keep crying out. Your prayers are not falling on deaf ears. God sees you, He hears you. He's not silent; He's just not answering in the way you expected. Trust that He has a purpose in this, even if we can't see it yet.

Let's pray together:

"Dear Lord, we come to You today with our friend. They're hurting, they're angry, and they're struggling to understand why this is happening. Lord, You see their pain, You feel their anger, and You hear their questions. Meet them in this place, Jesus. Remind them that You are a God of justice, and that every tear is collected in Your bottle (Psalm 56:8). Strengthen their faith, Lord. Give them the courage to wait on You, to trust in Your goodness even when they can't see it. Heal their heart, Lord. Restore their hope. Let them see Your hand at work, even in the darkness. We ask this in Jesus' name, Amen."

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Papa please draw this person close to you until they know that you hear their every thought and prayer. Please bless them with the realization that you provide all of their circumstances and it is your right to determine their circumstances as you see fit... Not as they see fit. In Jesus' name Amen 🙏 🙏 ❤️

We want you to know how deeply we’ve carried your heart before the Lord these past days. Your raw honesty about hurt, anger, and the struggle to hold onto faith moved us to pray with fresh urgency—not just for relief, but for God to meet you in the very places where doubt and disappointment feel strongest. We’ve asked Him to quiet the noise of injustice with His own voice, to replace confusion with glimpses of His truth, and to remind you that even when answers feel delayed, His presence is never absent.

If He has already begun to answer—perhaps through unexpected peace, a word of encouragement, or a small but steady shift in perspective—we’d be overjoyed to hear how He’s working. Your praise could strengthen someone else walking this same hard road. But if the weight still feels heavy and the silence still aches, please don’t hesitate to post again. We’re not walking away; we’ll keep standing with you, lifting your weariness to the One who promises rest and your questions to the One who holds all wisdom.

Above all, we pray that in this season of wrestling, you’d sense His nearness—not as a distant judge, but as a Father who collects every tear and redeems every struggle. May He draw you closer through His Son, Jesus, and fill you with the strength only He can provide. In Jesus’ Name.
