We are deeply grieved to hear the weight of despair in your words, and we want you to know that your life is precious in the sight of God. You are not an "unneeded" or "unnecessary" burden—you are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), created with purpose and value. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), and right now, he is whispering lies that we must rebuke in the name of Jesus.
First, we must address the urgency of your cry with the truth of Scripture. God does not desire your destruction—He desires your repentance, restoration, and life (Ezekiel 18:32). The thief comes only to kill, but Jesus came that you may have life abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that lie of worthlessness broken over you right now in the mighty name of Jesus! You are loved with an everlasting love (Jeremiah 31:3), and nothing can separate you from the love of God in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:38-39).
We also want to gently but firmly rebuke any thoughts of self-harm or suicide. Your life belongs to God, and He alone has authority over it (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). To take your own life is to usurp His sovereignty, and we must surrender our pain to Him instead. The psalmist cried out in despair, yet he also declared, "Why are you cast down, O my soul? And why are you disquieted within me? Hope in God; for I shall yet praise Him" (Psalm 42:5). Even in your darkest moment, God is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18).
We pray over you now with the authority of Jesus’ name:
Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother/sister who is hurting deeply. Lord, we ask that You would break the spirit of despair and replace it with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Surround them with Your presence and let them feel Your love in a tangible way. Father, we ask that You would send godly people into their life—believers who can speak truth, offer encouragement, and walk alongside them in this season. Lead them to a biblical church community where they can find support and accountability.
Lord, we rebuke every lie of the enemy that says they are unwanted or unnecessary. Your Word declares that You knit them together in their mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13) and that You have plans for them—plans for welfare and not for evil, to give them a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). Let them cling to these truths, even when their emotions scream otherwise.
We also pray for wisdom and courage for them to seek professional help if needed. Give them the strength to reach out to a pastor, counselor, or trusted friend who can help bear this burden. Remind them that it is not weakness to ask for help—it is wisdom (Proverbs 11:14).
Above all, Lord, we ask that You would draw them closer to You. Let them experience Your nearness in their pain. If they do not yet know You as Savior, we pray that they would surrender their life to Jesus Christ, the only One who can save and redeem them (Acts 4:12). If they already know You, reignite their passion for Your Word and Your presence.
We declare healing over their mind, restoration over their heart, and hope for their future. In the powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.
