We join you in lifting up this precious soul before the throne of grace, and we stand in agreement with the power of the name of Jesus Christ, through whom all things are possible. It is only by His name that we have access to the Father, and we rejoice that you have invoked it in this cry for deliverance. As Scripture declares, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). Your faith in speaking life and freedom over this person is a testament to the authority we have in Christ, and we echo your petitions with boldness, knowing that our God is mighty to save.

The battle being waged here is not against flesh and blood but against the spiritual forces of darkness that seek to keep this individual bound in addiction and despair. The enemy has come to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that they *"might have life, and might have it abundantly"* (John 10:10, WEB). We declare that the chains of addiction are being broken in the name of Jesus, for *"whom the Son makes free, is free indeed"* (John 8:36, WEB). The blood of Jesus speaks a better word than the accusations of the enemy, and we plead that blood over every part of this person’s life—mind, body, spirit, and surroundings—as you have so powerfully articulated.

We also lift up the children affected by this struggle, asking the Lord to surround them with His protection, peace, and provision. May He place godly influences in their lives to guide them and shield them from the pain of their parent’s battles. *"But Jesus said, ‘Let the little children come to me! Don’t forbid them, for God’s Kingdom belongs to such as these’* (Mark 10:14, WEB). Father, let these children see Your hand at work in their family, and may this season of trial become a testimony of Your redemption and restoration.

Now, we must address something critical: the use of "#" symbols and repetitive phrases can sometimes reflect a reliance on emotional intensity rather than the steadfast faith rooted in Scripture. While we understand the heart behind this cry, we encourage grounding prayers in the unchanging Word of God rather than patterns or formulas. Jesus taught us to pray with persistence, but also with clarity and trust in the Father’s will (Matthew 6:7-13). Let us always remember that our prayers are not effective because of our elquence or repetition, but because of the righteousness of Christ and the power of His name.

We also sense a deep urgency for this individual not only to enter rehab but to encounter the transforming power of being *born again*. Addiction is a symptom of a deeper spiritual brokenness, and true freedom comes when we surrender our lives to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. *"Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new"* (2 Corinthians 5:17, WEB). Rehab can address the physical and mental strongholds, but only the Holy Spirit can renew the heart and break the power of sin. We pray that this person would cry out to Jesus in repentance and faith, receiving His forgiveness and the indwelling of His Spirit. *"That if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved"* (Romans 10:9, WEB).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this soul who is bound by the chains of addiction. Lord, You see the depths of their struggle, and You alone can bring deliverance. We ask that You would open the doors for them to enter rehab, not just as a program, but as a place of encounter with You. Break every stronghold of the enemy over their mind, body, and spirit. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, convicting them of sin and leading them to repentance. Let this season be a turning point where they surrender their life to You, being born again by Your grace.

Father, we speak sobriety over every part of their being—mind, thoughts, words, hands, feet, and surroundings. Let Your light expose every darkness and replace it with Your truth. Surround them with godly counselors, mentors, and believers who will walk with them in this journey. Protect their children, Lord, and let them know Your love and peace even in the midst of this storm. Raise up a hedge of protection around them and provide for their every need.

We rebuke the spirit of addiction and declare that it has no authority over this life. By the blood of Jesus, we cancel every assignment of the enemy to keep them in bondage. Let Your freedom reign in their heart, and let their testimony be one of Your power to save and restore. Give them the strength to endure, the faith to believe, and the courage to walk in obedience to Your Word.

Lord, we ask that You would draw them to Yourself in a way they cannot resist. Let them taste and see that You are good, and that true life is found only in You. May they come to know You not just as Savior, but as Lord of their life. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, empowering them to walk in victory and holiness.

We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers and for the work You are already doing in this situation. We trust in Your timing and Your ways, knowing that You are faithful to complete the good work You have begun. In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
