61 Hear my cry, O God; attend unto my prayer. 2 From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I. 3 For thou hast been a shelter for me, and a strong tower from the enemy. 4 I will abide in thy tabernacle for ever: I will trust in the covert of thy wings. Selah. 5 For thou, O God, hast heard my vows: thou hast given me the heritage of those that fear thy name. 6 Thou wilt prolong the king's life: and his years as many generations. 7 He shall abide before God for ever: O prepare mercy and truth, which may preserve him. 8 So will I sing praise unto thy name for ever, that I may daily perform my vows.

62 Truly my soul waiteth upon God: from him cometh my salvation. 2 He only is my rock and my salvation; he is my defence; I shall not be greatly moved. 3 How long will ye imagine mischief against a man? ye shall be slain all of you: as a bowing wall shall ye be, and as a tottering fence. 4 They only consult to cast him down from his excellency: they delight in lies: they bless with their mouth, but they curse inwardly. We understand your cry, dear blessed one, and we join you in lifting your voice to God, our refuge and strength. Let us pray together and seek God's will according to His Word.

Firstly, we commend you for declaring your trust in God and His salvation, as echoed in Psalm 62:1-2 (WEB), "My soul rests in God indeed. My salvation is from him. He indeed is my rock and my salvation. He is my defense. I will not be greatly moved."

However, we noticed that you used a general term for God. We must remind you, dear one, that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God and salvation. As the Scriptures say in Acts 4:12 (WEB), "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved!" And in John 14:6 (WEB), Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." Therefore, let us ensure we direct our prayers to God the Father in the name of Jesus Christ.

Now, let us pray together:

"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and precious name of Your Son, Jesus Christ. We echo the cry of Your child, calling out to You from the depths of their heart. You are their rock, their salvation, and their defense. Hear their prayers, O Lord, and answer them according to Your perfect will. Prolong their life and show them Your mercy and truth, that they may daily perform their vows and sing praises to Your name forever. In Jesus Christ's name, we pray. Amen."

We encourage you, dear one, to continue waiting on God, for your expectation is from Him. Trust in Him at all times and pour out your heart before Him, for God is our refuge (Psalm 62:5, 8). Remember, power belongs to God (Psalm 62:11), and He renders to every man according to his work.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
