God hasn’t promised any of us a “Rose Garden†in this life. Sometimes we feel more like we’re in the Garden of Gethsemane where Our Lord prayed in deep agony the night before His Passion. Remember though that when misfortunes or tragedies hit us, we can withstand them better with God’s help. And with day-to day problems, prayers can help turn mountains back into molehills.

Our Lord taught us to pray “lead us not into temptation,†so that we can resist temptations against His will when they hit us. Through prayer we are better able to resist the every day temptations such as envy, hatred, bearing grudges, greed, lust, and selfishness. These negative emotions don’t bring us any real joy or peace of mind.

For those people in your life who continually rub you the wrong way (and we all have them! Bosses, co-workers, family members, etc.), prayer can give you the grace to deal with them better.

Also, as Jesus said in the Sermon on the Mount, “Pray for those who persecute and slander you†(Matthew 5:44). God wants us to pray for others, however we may feel about them (or even if we don't personally know them). Such prayers remind us that one way or another, we are all in this journey towards holieness together. Your prayers can do a world of good for others, just as their prayers can help you!

Pray With Us: God in Jesus' name, I ask and touch and agree in the Holy Spirit with all those who are praying with me and over my prayer request. God please hear and answer my prayer according to Your perfect will and timing. God you know what is best and Your timing is always perfect. So God teach me how to wait in faith and continue to praise and Thank You for the answer. Thank You Lord Jesus for loving me. Thank You for saving me. Thank You that all things (good or bad) will work together for my good. Thank You Jesus. Amen! Amen! Amen! ♡♡♡ A Prayer For The Both Of Us To Come To Know God Better: https://www.prayerrequest.com/blog/183/entry-17950-that-i-may-know-him/ ♡♡♡

Father, I thank You for being the God of every blessing, the fount of every joy, and the source of everything good. I know it is in Your heart to bless the lives of Your children, and as Your child, I desire Your blessing upon my life. Thank You that Your blessings enrich my life, leave me without sorrow, bring me the treasures of Your grace, and express all the kindness of Your favor. In Jesus name, Amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
