❤️ 🙏 ❤️ God, I ask You in Jesus’ name teach and show me how to accept, embrace, abide, and rest in Your love for me in every season of my life and in every situation that I go through (positive or negative). God don’t let me listen to the lies of Satan. But help me keep my focus on You, trust You, and rest in Your love. God help me to always remember how much You love me. You love me so much that You let Your Son, Jesus Christ, die for me, rather than live without me. God Thank You for loving me with an amazing everlasting love. And God may I fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, and strength, and never fall out of love with You. God do this for me, for those I love, care about, and the writer of this prayer. God please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. Thank You Jesus. Amen.

We hear your heart’s cry, and we join you in lifting this prayer before the throne of grace. Your desire to abide in God’s love, resist the enemy’s lies, and deepen your love for Him is beautiful and aligns with His Word. The Lord delights in those who seek Him with their whole heart, and He promises to draw near to you as you draw near to Him (James 4:8).

The love of God is indeed unfathomable, so vast that He gave His only Son, Jesus Christ, to die for us while we were still sinners (Romans 5:8). This love is not based on our performance or worthiness but on His perfect, unchanging nature. When the enemy whispers lies, whether of condemnation, unworthiness, or doubt, we must counter them with the truth of Scripture. The Word declares that nothing can separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:38-39). When trials come, His love remains steadfast, and His grace is sufficient (2 Corinthians 12:9). Even in suffering, we can rest in the knowledge that He works all things together for the good of those who love Him (Romans 8:28).

We also rejoice in your desire to love God with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength, this is the greatest commandment (Mark 12:30). True love for God is not merely emotion but obedience, trust, and surrender. As you seek Him daily through prayer, Scripture, and fellowship with believers, your love for Him will grow deeper. The Holy Spirit will help you in your weakness, interceding for you when words fail (Romans 8:26).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for Your amazing, everlasting love. Lord, we ask that You would teach and show [them], and each of us, how to fully accept, embrace, abide in, and rest in Your love in every season of life. When the enemy tries to distort Your truth with lies, strengthen [their] faith to stand firm on Your Word. Help [them] to keep [their] eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of [their] faith (Hebrews 12:2).

Father, we thank You for the sacrifice of Your Son, Jesus Christ, who demonstrated the depth of Your love by laying down His life for us. May [they] never forget the price that was paid for [their] redemption. Fill [them] with a love for You that surpasses understanding, a love that compels [them] to live wholly for You. Guard [their] heart from distractions, idols, or anything that would draw [them] away from You.

Lord, we also lift up those [they] love and care about. May Your love transform their lives as well, drawing them into a deeper relationship with You. Let this prayer be a continual reminder of Your faithfulness, and may it bear fruit in [their] life and the lives of others for generations to come.

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, the only name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12). May Your will be done in [their] life, and may Your love be the foundation upon which [they] stand. Amen.

Continue to seek God daily, meditating on His Word and spending time in His presence. The more you know Him, the more you will love Him, and the more you love Him, the more you will trust Him. He is faithful, and His love endures forever (Psalm 136:1).

What a beautiful prayer you’ve shared. We’re right there with you, learning to simply rest in God’s love is one of the deepest, most honest things a heart can pursue. So often we can believe God’s love in our heads but struggle to let it settle into the places where fear and weariness live. You’re not alone in that.

We’ve found it helps to think of this not as something we achieve by trying harder, but as a long, gentle training of the heart. Like a marathon runner builds endurance through small, faithful runs, our capacity to abide in Christ grows as we practice receiving His love in ordinary, daily moments, not just when we feel strong, but especially when we don’t. When the enemy whispers that we’ve failed or that God’s affection has cooled, we can quietly turn and speak the simple truth we know: “I am loved with an everlasting love.” Even saying it aloud can be a quiet defiance of the lies.

A small next step could be to give yourself five unhurried minutes today to sit with the Lord and not ask for anything. Don’t pray through a list. Just let the fact of His love hold you. That one pause, repeated over time, can become a place your soul learns to return to again and again.

Thank You, Jesus, that Your love doesn’t ebb and flow with our circumstances. Quiet the voices that tell us we’re forgotten, and root us so deeply in Your love that we find ourselves loving You back with all we are, and loving others from that secure place. In Your name we pray, Amen.

What a wonderful prayer. We pray together this prayer and agree with it. In Lord Yeshuas name amen.

You ask to be taught how to rest in His love, and that is a lesson worth all the learning. The text rings in my ears: "He will rest in His love." Mark that, it is not you first resting in His, but He resting in His love towards you. He never rested till He found that all His love was given to us, and He will never completely rest till all our love is given to Him! The love of God abides forever the same. When you are in darkness, the Lord still sees you with an eye of love. With God there is as much love in chastening as in caressing. He never abates in fervor towards His ancient friends. Has He not said, "I am the Lord. I change not. Therefore you sons of Jacob are not consumed"? Fix this in your soul, and the lies of Satan will fall pointless as arrows against a shield of brass.

You cry out against the serpent's whispers, and rightly so. Yet the only way to silence them is to let God's own love drown them out. The love of God to His people is omnipotent, there is no force in nature that can, for a single moment, be compared with it! It is irresistible, for the love of God conquered God Himself, and brought Him down to earth in human form. Hereby perceive we the love of God towards us. More than that, God could not rest until He had made the greatest sacrifice that He could make and had given up His only-begotten Son to die in the place of sinners. When you behold that cross, you have the grand answer to every accusing thought. What music lies in that sentence, "Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love"!

And your plea, that you may fall utterly in love with Him and never fall out, this is the very heart of the matter. It should be our second and higher nature to always love the Lord without the slightest prompting. To love Him is the chief thing, it is our love that Christ longs for above everything else. "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your strength, and with all your mind." Spell LOVE to God in the largest capitals you can find! Love Him intensely, without any limit to your love. Do not hold back. Be not satisfied with little believing, scant enjoying, and cool feeling, let us enter fully into the joy of our Lord! Because Jesus loves you as His own soul, He wants you to avow your union with Him. Come, let us love our Lord, or die! If we really are Christians, our hearts would sooner cease to beat than cease to love our blessed Savior.

He who has put this hunger in your heart will satisfy it. It is the grace of God, the mighty love of God in Christ Jesus, that will subdue our spirit to the dominion of Christ. He presses the provisions of His love upon us, like a host whose joy lies in seeing all his guests feasting. To make our Lord Jesus happy, we must also be happy. So take Him at His word, and rest, for He rests in His love for you, and He will joy over you with singing.
