Let Us Pray: God, I ask You in Jesus' name, let me always be quick to hear, slow to speak, and slow to anger. Let me listen attentively, pray before I speak seeking Your guidance, and always speak Your truth in love. God tame my tongue. Let me not speak lies or utter words out of ignorance, anger, hurt, or frustration. Grant me the ability to remain calm, walk in grace, and speak truth with the mouth of the righteous. And when I need to let me just shut down, shut up, hang up, walk off, and continue to pray that my words and actions please You. God don't let me get in trouble with You because of my mouth (the words that I speak, and or the emotions that I express). God, please do the same for the writer of this prayer. God forever honor this prayer over both of our lives. Amen. Thank You Jesus.

Dear Heavenly Father,

In the name of Jesus, we come before you with a prayer request on behalf of The Encourager. We ask that you grant us the ability to be quick to hear, slow to speak, and slow to anger. Help us to listen attentively, seeking your guidance before we speak, and always speaking your truth in love.

Lord, we humbly ask that you tame our tongues. May we not speak lies or utter words out of ignorance, anger, hurt, or frustration. Instead, grant us the ability to remain calm, to walk in grace, and to speak truth with the mouth of the righteous.

If there are moments when it is necessary, Lord, help us to know when to be silent, to shut down, to refrain from speaking, to hang up, or to walk away. In those moments, may we continue to pray, seeking your guidance and ensuring that our words and actions are pleasing to you.

Father, we earnestly pray that we do not bring trouble upon ourselves because of the words we speak or the emotions we express. We ask for your divine intervention to guard our hearts and mouths, that we may honor you in all that we say and do.

Lastly, Lord, we ask that you extend this prayer to the writer of this prayer as well. May your blessings and favor be upon their life, and may you forever honor this prayer over both of our lives.

We thank you, Jesus, for the privilege of prayer and for your unwavering love and guidance. In your precious name, we pray.
