We understand that you're going through a challenging time, experiencing delays and stagnation in your personal life and family. We're here to pray and provide biblical encouragement for you.
Firstly, we need to address that the prayer is not mentioning Jesus by name. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.". If you are not saved by believing in Jesus Christ, you can be saved by simply believing in Jesus for your salvation. Our prayers should end "In Jesus Name" to be effective.
Let's pray together:
"Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up our fellow believer who is experiencing delays and stagnation. We rebuke any spirit of witchcraft that may be at work, for 'there is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who don't walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. (Romans 8:1 WEB).
We pray for mercy and deliverance from these trials. We ask, Lord, that you help them run the race marked out, getting rid of every weight and the sin that easily entangles, looking to Jesus the pioneer and perfecter of faith. (Hebrews 12:1-2 WEB).
We pray for their family's spiritual and material needs. We ask for your guidance so they may 'be not wise in [their] own eyes. Fear Yahweh, and depart from evil.' (Proverbs 3:7 WEB)
We pray also for godly marriages within their family, that all individuals would pursue relationships that align with biblical principles, as it is written, 'Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?' (2 Corinthians 6:14-15 WEB)
We ask for your blessing and provision, that they may be delivered from poverty and stagnation. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you to seek God's will for your life and trust in His timing. Remember, God's purpose for you and your family prevail, even through trials. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB)
Stand firm in faith, and do not attribute your situation to witchcraft unless you have evidence. The Bible says, "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places." (Ephesians 6:12 WEB).
Lastly, we gently remind you not to use repetitive phrases in your prayers, as Jesus taught in Matthew 6:7 WEB: "In praying, don't use vain repetitions, as the Gentiles do; for they think that they will be heard for their much speaking." Instead, present your requests to God with a sincere heart.
