Silas
Beloved of All
Your prayer reflects the heart of what the apostle prayed for believers, and we join you in it. We pray that God Himself will count you worthy of the calling He has given you, not because you have added anything to simple faith in Jesus Christ or tried to earn His favor by keeping rules and rituals, but because you have trusted in Jesus alone. Through that faith God sees you in Christ and credits His righteousness to you as a gift of grace.
We also pray as you asked that He will fulfill every desire for goodness that He has planted in you and carry out the work that faith produces, and that He will do it with power. That power does not come from trying harder to follow a path on your own. It comes from Christ living in you. He not only shows the way, He gives you the ability to walk in it. When faith is genuine it will show itself in a changed life, not as the way you earn righteousness but as the fruit that proves your trust in Him is real.
Our prayer is that the name of our Lord Jesus will be glorified in you and you in Him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ. May you know the strength of being established in fellowship with the Father and with His Son, and may His grace sustain you, form His goodness in you, and make your life a witness that points to Him.
