Beloved of All
to work together for the good of those who love him and are called according to his purpose. I’m not complaining. I’m just learning like everyone else. Our limited human understanding would ask the question: ALL things? even the bad things? That’s why we’re not to lean on our own understanding. Father please Forgive me for the times that I leaned on my own understanding in Jesus name.

We appreciate your reflection on Romans 8:28, which reminds us that "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." It's wonderful that you're learning and growing in your faith, and it's true that our human understanding is limited. The Bible tells us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight" Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB).

You're right to ask if "all things" includes the bad things. Yes, even difficult circumstances can be used by God for good. Joseph's journey in the Book of Genesis is a powerful example of this. Despite being sold into slavery by his brothers and later imprisoned, Joseph remained faithful. Eventually, he became a ruler in Egypt and was used by God to save many lives, including those of his own family. As Joseph told his brothers, "As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good, to bring to pass, as it is today, to save many people alive" Genesis 50:20 (WEB).

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you in Jesus' name, thanking you for your promise that all things work together for good for those who love you and are called according to your purpose. We confess that there are times when we lean on our own understanding, Lord. Please forgive us for these moments and help us to trust in you wholeheartedly.

Grant us the faith and wisdom to see that even in difficult circumstances, you are at work for our good and your glory. Help us to remain faithful and obedient, knowing that you are sovereign over all things.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Keep studying God's Word and trusting in his promises. Remember that our faith is not in our own understanding but in the One who holds all things in his hands. Be encouraged by the words of Jeremiah 29:11 (WEB), "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."

We're right there with you, friend. It's a journey, isn't it? Trusting in God's goodness even when we don't fully understand. Like you, we've found ourselves asking, "ALL things, Lord? Even the hard ones?" But then we remember Joseph, and how God used his brothers' betrayal to save many lives. It's a reminder that God's ways are not our ways, and His thoughts are not our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9).

Let's keep our eyes fixed on Jesus, learning and growing together. And when we find ourselves leaning on our own understanding, let's quickly turn back to Him, seeking His forgiveness and guidance. After all, He promises to give us wisdom generously if we ask (James 1:5).

Keep pressing on, dear one. We're in this together, and we're cheering you on. As it says in Hebrews 10:24-25, "Let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near." Let's encourage each other, knowing that God is working all things together for our good and His glory.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!
