LORD GOD as i await word on a second interview, i am so nervous because my supervisor is making it difficult for me at my place of employment. I pray that ### door will open to a new opportunity for employment. I pray these prayers. John 14:27 ("Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid") and Philippians 4:6-7 ("Be anxious for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus" In Jesus Christ Almighty Name AMEN

We join you in lifting up your heart to our Heavenly Father, knowing that He hears and cares deeply for your struggles. The anxiety you feel over this second interview and the challenges with your current supervisor are real, but we remind you that God’s Word commands us not to be anxious, but to bring every concern to Him in prayer with thanksgiving. You have already claimed the beautiful promises of John 14:27 and Philippians 4:6-7, and we stand with you in declaring these truths over your life. The peace of Christ *is* yours, and it surpasses all understanding—it guards your heart and mind even when circumstances feel overwhelming.

It is clear you are seeking God’s will in this season, and we commend you for turning to Him rather than relying on your own strength. The Lord sees the difficulty you face at your current job, and He is not unaware of the stress your supervisor has placed upon you. Yet, we must also ask: have you examined your own heart in this situation? Are there ways you might need to extend grace, forgive, or even confront with gentleness and respect (Colossians 4:6)? Sometimes, God uses trials to refine us, teaching us to trust Him more deeply while also growing us in patience and humility. That said, if this environment is truly toxic or unjust, we pray earnestly that the Lord would open a door of escape, just as He did for His people in Egypt (Exodus 14:13-14). He is the God who parts seas and makes ways where there seem to be none.

As you await this interview, remember that your worth is not tied to this job or any human approval. Your identity is in Christ alone (Galatians 2:20). If this opportunity is His will, He will make it clear. If not, He has something better—even if it doesn’t feel that way in the moment. Trust in His timing, for He works all things together for the good of those who love Him (Romans 8:28). We also encourage you to prepare diligently for this interview, not in fear, but as an act of stewardship, knowing that God honors excellence (Colossians 3:23).

Let us pray together:

Father, we lift up our brother/sister to You, knowing that You are the God who calms storms and stills anxious hearts. Lord, we ask that You would flood their soul with Your peace—the peace that Jesus promised, the peace that guards their mind in Christ Jesus. Remove every trace of fear, doubt, and nervousness, replacing it with confidence in You. We pray that if this job is Your will, You would open the door wide, making the path clear. Give them favor with the interviewers, wisdom in their words, and a spirit of boldness that can only come from You. But Father, if this is not the opportunity You have for them, close the door gently and redirect their steps to where You would have them go. We trust that You are their Provider, their Jehovah Jireh, and that You will never leave them nor forsake them.

We also pray for their current workplace, Lord. Soften the heart of their supervisor, and if there is any bitterness, unforgiveness, or strife, we ask that You would bring conviction and reconciliation. Help our brother/sister to respond in a way that honors You, whether through patience, forgiveness, or godly confrontation. Give them discernment to know how to navigate this season with wisdom and grace.

Most of all, Father, we pray that through this trial, their faith would grow stronger. Remind them that You are their Shepherd, and they lack no good thing (Psalm 23:1). May they rest in the assurance that You are working all things for their good and Your glory.

We ask these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Stand firm in faith, knowing that God is with you. Keep seeking Him first, and all these things—including provision and peace—will be added to you (Matthew 6:33). We are cheering you on and will continue to pray for you. If the outcome of this interview is not what you hope for, remember that delay is not denial. God’s plans for you are good, and He is never late. Wait on Him with expectation, for those who wait on the Lord *will* renew their strength (Isaiah 40:31).

We're right there with you, dear friend, as you face this interview and the challenges at your workplace. We've been reminded of a verse that's been a comfort to us in times like these: "Casting all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you" (1 Peter 5:7). It's a beautiful picture of Jesus, our Good Shepherd, carrying our burdens and caring deeply for us.

We join you in praying for peace to guard your heart and mind, just as we've seen in Philippians 4:7. But let's also remember to be like the wise virgins, preparing diligently for this interview, not out of fear, but as an act of stewardship (Matthew 25:1-13). Let's trust that God will give you the words to say and the wisdom to know what to do.

We're also praying for your supervisor, asking God to soften their heart and give them understanding. We claim Romans 12:18 over this situation, "If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone." Let's be ready to respond with grace and kindness, even if it's not reciprocated.

And finally, we're believing with you for a new opportunity, trusting that God will open the right doors at the right time. If this interview isn't God's will, we trust that He has something even better planned. Let's wait on Him with expectation, knowing that He's working all things together for our good (Romans 8:28).

Keep trusting, keep seeking, and know that we're cheering you on every step of the way. You're not alone in this. We're praying for you, and we believe that God will give you the strength to endure and the peace to know that He's got this.

Thank you Heavenly Father for blessing us with another day, and for all you do for all of us. All glory and honor belongs to you Father. I lift this prayer up on your glory Father God and ask that you grant your perfect will. In Jesus name I pray. Amen
