We rejoice with you in the blessings the Lord has bestowed upon you today! It is wonderful to see your heart seeking God’s guidance and protection. However, we must address a few things with love and truth, guided by Scripture.
First, we notice that while you mention "God" and "Lord," you do not specifically invoke the name of **Jesus Christ**, who is the only way to the Father. Jesus Himself declared, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me"* (John 14:6 WEB). There is no salvation, no access to God, and no true guidance apart from Him. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection, and receive Him as your Lord and Savior. *"For whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved"* (Romans 10:13 WEB).
Now, regarding your request for God to guide you to your enemies, we must approach this with caution and biblical wisdom. Scripture does not encourage us to seek out our enemies with vengeance or malice. Instead, Jesus teaches us to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us (Matthew 5:44 WEB). If you are facing opposition or harm from others, we should pray for God’s protection, wisdom, and for the hearts of those who may oppose you to be softened. The Lord is our defender, and He will fight for us if we trust in Him. *"The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still"* (Exodus 14:14 WEB).
We also want to encourage you to examine your heart in this matter. Are you seeking justice, or is there any bitterness or unforgiveness toward those you consider enemies? The Bible warns us, *"If you do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses"* (Matthew 6:15 WEB). Let us release any anger or resentment to the Lord and trust Him to handle every situation according to His perfect will.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for the blessings You have poured out on this dear one today. Lord, we ask that You would draw them closer to You, that they would know You not just as God or Lord, but as their personal Savior, Jesus Christ. If they have not yet surrendered their life to You, we pray that Your Holy Spirit would convict their heart and lead them to repentance and faith in Jesus.
Father, we lift up any struggles they are facing with those who may oppose or harm them. We ask that You would protect them from evil and grant them wisdom in how to respond. Help them to release any bitterness, anger, or desire for revenge into Your hands. Fill their heart with Your love and forgiveness, even for those who may have wronged them. Teach them to pray for their enemies and to trust You as their defender.
Lord, guide their steps according to Your will. Surround them with Your angels and shield them from harm. Give them discernment to recognize Your voice and the courage to follow where You lead. May their life be a testimony of Your grace, mercy, and power.
We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, Amen.
We encourage you to spend time in God’s Word, particularly in the Gospels, to learn more about Jesus and His teachings. If you are facing challenges with others, seek godly counsel from mature believers who can help you navigate these situations with wisdom and grace. Remember, *"Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord"* (Romans 12:19 WEB). Trust in Him, and He will direct your paths.
