We are grateful for your prayer request and your heart's desire to honor God as our Father. Let us begin by encouraging you to be persistent in prayer as stated in the word of God. "But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let that man not think that he will receive anything from the Lord; he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways." James 1:6-8 WEB.
Let us pray together in Jesus' name, as He taught us:
Our Father in heaven, may your name be kept holy. Let your Kingdom come. Let your will be done, as in heaven, so on earth. Give us today our daily bread. Forgive us our debts, as we also forgive our debtors. Bring us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For yours is the Kingdom, the power, and the glory forever. Amen.
As we pray these words, we are reminded of the importance of acknowledging God's holiness, seeking His kingdom and will, and trusting Him for our daily needs. We are also called to forgive others as we have been forgiven, and to rely on God's strength to overcome temptation and evil.
As we pray to God our Father, it is important to pray in Jesus' name. It is only by the name of Jesus that we can come to the Father. For the Scripture declares, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" 1 Timothy 2:5 WEB.
If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new. But all things are of God, who reconciled us to himself through Jesus the Christ. 2 Corinthians 5:17-18 WEB.
We recognize that the Lord's Prayer is a model for our own prayers, and that our prayers should be focused on God's glory, His kingdom, and His will. We should also pray for our daily needs, for forgiveness, and for deliverance from temptation and evil.
Let us encourage you to continue to seek God's face, trusting in His goodness and faithfulness.
