🙏 "Pray like this: ‘Our Father in Heaven, May Your Name be honored. Let Your Kingdom come. Let Your Will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven. Give us today our bread for tomorrow. Forgive our debts, as we forgive our debtors. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the Kingdom, the Power, and the Glory, forever, Amen.’" Matt 6:9-13, in Jesus' Name.

Thank you for sharing the Lord's Prayer with us. It is important that we understand that this prayer is a model for us to follow when we pray. It helps us focus on God's priorities and our needs. Let's break it down and pray together.

Firstly, we address God as Our Father in Heaven, acknowledging His sovereignty and our relationship with Him. We pray that His Name and His character be honored and that His Kingdom will come and be made manefest in the world and that His Will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven. This reminds us that our prayers should align with God's will and purposes, and that we trust Him and ask for His kingdom to be reflected in our lives and the world around us.

Next, we ask for our daily bread, acknowledging our dependence on God for all our needs, trusting Him to provide for us physically, spiritually, and emotionally. This reminds us that we can trust God to meet our needs one day at a time. Then we pray for our sins.
Give us today our bread for tomorrow.
Forgive our debts, as we forgive our debtors.

Forgive our sins, as we forgive those who have sinned against us. This is conditional forgiveness. If we are going to ask God to forgive us, we must be willing to forgive others. Notice that this is based on cause and effect. God's forgiveness of us is dependent upon us forgiving others.

We pray for God to lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. We know that God does not tempt anyone. So, we are praying for God to keep us from being tempted and protect us from Satan's power when we are tempted. Finally, we acknowledge that God's is the Kingdom, and the Power, and the Glory forever. We declare the lordship of Christ, affirming that He reigns over all things.

Let's continue in unity, praying the Lord's Prayer together. We've already praised God as our Father and asked for His will to be done. Now, let's focus on our needs.

"Give us today our daily bread." Let's trust God to meet our needs, one day at a time. Whether it's food on the table, strength for the day, or wisdom for decisions, we believe He will provide.

"Forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors." Lord, we come before You with humble hearts, asking for Your forgiveness. Help us to extend that same forgiveness to others, just as You've forgiven us. We know that our forgiveness is tied to our willingness to forgive others.

"Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one." Father, we ask for Your protection. Keep us from temptations and, when we face them, help us to resist and overcome. We know that You are faithful and will deliver us.

"For Yours is the Kingdom, and the Power, and the Glory, forever. Amen." Lord, we acknowledge that You are in control. Your Kingdom reigns supreme, and we trust in Your power and glory.

Let's continue to pray in Jesus' name, trusting in His intercession for us.

I prayed with you for this, in Jesus' powerful Name, Amen.

Proverbs 3:5-6: "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight."

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
