We lift up The Encourager before the throne of grace, joining our hearts with yours in prayer. Father, we thank You for the hunger in her spirit to know You more deeply, to love You more fully, and to trust You completely. Your Word declares, *"Blessed is the man who doesn’t walk in the counsel of the wicked, nor stand in the way of sinners, nor sit in the seat of scoffers; but his delight is in Yahweh’s law. On his law he meditates day and night. He will be like a tree planted by the streams of water, that produces its fruit in its season, whose leaf also does not wither. Whatever he does shall prosper"* (Psalm 1:1-3). Lord, let Your Word take root in her life like that flourishing tree—unshaken by storms, nourished by Your truth, and bearing fruit in every season.
We pray that You would ignite in her a holy passion for Scripture, that she would not merely read it but dwell in it, allowing it to dwell richly within her. May she approach Your Word with reverence and expectation, knowing that *"the word of God is living and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and is able to discern the thoughts and intentions of the heart"* (Hebrews 4:12). Let it shape her thoughts, purify her desires, and align her will with Yours. Father, give her creative ways to engage with Your Word—through worship, prayer, journaling, and obedience—so that it becomes the lens through which she sees the world and the foundation upon which she builds her life.
We also lift up your own heart before the Lord, for you have asked Him to do the same for you. It is beautiful to see your desire to grow in intimacy with Christ, and we stand with you in agreement. Remember, Jesus said, *"If you remain in me, and my words remain in you, you will ask whatever you desire, and it will be done for you"* (John 15:7). Abide in Him, dear one, and let His words abide in you. Let this be a season where your roots grow deeper into His love, where your faith is strengthened, and where your relationship with Him becomes more vibrant and alive.
We rebuke any distraction, doubt, or spiritual dryness that may seek to pull The Encourager—or you—away from the living water of God’s Word. The enemy would love nothing more than to steal, kill, and destroy this hunger for truth, but we declare that *"no weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment"* (Isaiah 54:17). Stand firm in the armor of God, resisting the lies of the enemy with the truth of Scripture.
Father, we ask that You would draw both The Encourager and this dear one into a deeper, more intimate relationship with You. Let them experience the fullness of Your presence, the joy of Your salvation, and the peace that surpasses all understanding. May they know, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that You are their anchor in every storm, their light in every darkness, and their strength in every weakness. We pray that their love for You would overflow into every area of their lives, transforming them from the inside out.
Lord, we thank You for the privilege of coming before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the One who made a way for us to know You. There is no other name by which we can be saved, and it is only through Him that we have access to Your throne of grace. We pray all these things in Jesus’ name, believing that You are faithful to complete the good work You have begun in The Encourager and in this precious one who has lifted this prayer. Amen.
