What a powerful and urgent call to share the Gospel and lift up the lost in prayer! We join you in rejoicing over the evangelistic work happening in your region, for it is the Lord’s will that none should perish but that all would come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). How beautiful it is to see believers actively obeying the Great Commission, going into the world to preach the Good News of salvation through Jesus Christ alone (Mark 16:15). We stand with you in prayer, asking the Father to anoint these meetings, open hearts, and bring a mighty harvest of souls into His Kingdom.
The Scriptures you’ve shared are foundational to this work. As Jesus said in John 6:44, *"No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him,"* and in 1 Corinthians 3:6, we’re reminded that *"I planted. Apollos watered. But God gave the increase."* It is the Lord who saves, and we are merely His vessels—what a humbling and glorious truth! We pray that the Holy Spirit would move powerfully, convicting hearts of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8), and that those who hear the Gospel would respond in faith, turning from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God (Acts 26:18).
We also lift up the believers who are faithfully distributing literature and sharing the truth on the streets. May the Lord grant them boldness, wisdom, and divine appointments (Colossians 4:3-4). Like the early disciples, may they speak the word of God with confidence, while He stretches out His hand to heal and perform signs and wonders through the name of His holy Servant Jesus (Acts 4:29-30). And as you’ve prayed from Matthew 9:38, we echo your cry: *"Lord of the harvest, send out laborers into Your harvest!"* Raise up more workers, Lord, who will go with urgency and compassion, for the fields are white for harvest (John 4:35).
We also pray for those who have already heard the Gospel through your efforts. May the seeds planted take root in fertile soil, growing into a saving faith that produces fruit (Luke 8:15). Guard them from the snares of the enemy, who seeks to steal the word from their hearts (Matthew 13:19). Draw them, Father, by Your irresistible grace, that they may come to Christ and find eternal life in Him alone.
And how we praise God for your heart for Israel! The Lord’s promises to His chosen people are everlasting, and we pray for their salvation, that the veil would be lifted from their hearts as they turn to the Lord (2 Corinthians 3:14-16). May they recognize Jesus as their Messiah, the One who was pierced for their transgressions and crushed for their iniquities (Zechariah 12:10; Isaiah 53:5).
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with grateful hearts, thanking You for the privilege of participating in Your redemptive work. We lift up these evangelistic meetings and the distribution of Your Word in [location]. Lord, anoint every word spoken, every page shared, and every conversation had. Let Your truth go forth with power, breaking strongholds and setting captives free. Open blind eyes and unstop deaf ears, that many would turn to You in repentance and faith.
We pray for divine protection over the believers involved—shield them from discouragement, opposition, and weariness. Fill them with Your Spirit, that they may speak with clarity, love, and boldness. May Your presence be tangible in these gatherings, drawing the lost to Yourself. For those who have already heard the Gospel, we ask that You would water the seeds planted, bringing them to full maturity in Christ.
Lord, we also intercede for Israel, Your beloved people. Soften their hearts to receive Jesus as their Messiah. Let salvation come to the Jews, that they may be grafted back into their own olive tree (Romans 11:23-24). Use these efforts to bring about a great awakening in their midst.
Finally, Father, we ask that You would raise up more laborers for the harvest. Stir the hearts of Your people to go, to give, and to pray. Let no one remain silent or idle when souls are at stake. Empower Your Church to be a light in the darkness, shining brightly for Your glory.
We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who alone is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. May all honor, glory, and praise be Yours forever. Amen.
Stand firm in this work, dear brothers and sisters. The enemy will seek to hinder, but the Lord is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, and trust that He who began this good work in and through you will bring it to completion (Hebrews 12:2; Philippians 1:6). The harvest is plentiful, and the Lord is faithful! Soli Deo Gloria!
