Disciple of Prayer
Glory be to the father the son and the holy spirit. Amen.
Dear Father, I have been coming to Vincentian prayer house and it has been a blessing to me everytime I come. Indeed I have even encountered healing and miracles in my life that were beyond my expectations. I promised to continue nurturing my prayer life and one of them was getting a proper job after along time of joblessness. This was such a blessing this happened in 2015 and 2016 I got a very good job. I intended to come to vincentian to give my thanks to God but it was after some time there were so many people than i had expected. I have since been busy and everytime I want to come something comes up. I purposed to come last saturday but a friend begged her to take her somewhere and was torn she advised that i create time during the week since there are not many people but i was set to travel for a training in Machakos for 2 weeks where i am right now and have seen the retreats that will be there but I will be away.
Dear Father, since I got this job i really wanted to give something to God for the wonderful gift he had given me. but was not able I have been feeling very guilty about it.
Though i have been able to have resources but I developed anxiety and wanting to finish everything that I felt was lagging behind. Like repairing my mothers house because it was so rundown and for my husband who had started a house for us but lost his job.
I want to pray for forgiveness because I feel I became too busy for God this has made me stressed because I have been conscious of this wanting to serve to my God but doing other things.
This December i think out of the stress I asked my sister to pick her daughter who was staying with me because I felt she was lazy and everytime I corrected her she called her parents and told them I didnt like her and discriminated. I felt that through her complaining I felt stressed and felt she would bring bad blood because my sister would cry to my mother and felt this would bring bad luck in my family.
My prayer request is that
1. I need you to pray that I can be prayerful and seek God and Put him first in all I do.
2. I need peace and to be confident and to remove all anxiety.
3. I want to pray for God's grace and Mercy and to guide me to do things for his glory.
4. I want to pray for God for God's protection from evil spirits
5. I had suffered rejection but through Gods blessing after getting the job and income everyone wanted to be close to me and wanted my help. not all this people have been happy for me they have uttered curses and things that are not good. sometimes i would give out everything and feel overwhelmed but I always thank God that I have the money to help.
6. I want to assist to pray for my children Michael and Edward. Pray that the holy spirit guides them in every way.
Edward was given a letter to join Nairobi University but has not joined as the program has been postponed severally from September, 2017 to January, 2017 and now pushed to February, 2018. we pray that when this day comes there is no postponement. I pray that he does not fall into evil ways as he continues to wait. That he may lean on God and wait upon him.
Pray for Michael to have wisdom and to perform well he has not been performing in school at all. seems not aware of anything unlike before he could be even No. 1. He has been experiencing some rejection from some people which hurts me please pray for him.
He has been an introvert so you cant know what he is thinking so sometimes he has been cheating and stealing and he does not realise that he is doing this and thinks he can be sly. Please pray for him to change
Pray for both me and my husband to be a good example to our children.
7. I had money which I intended to buy a plot but instead diverted to help my mother and husband I pray for restoration, was given a wrong loan which was expensive and my payslip is not able to sustain me.
8. I pray for my husband to lean on you and help him to get a job or if business to get consistent income to take care of his needs
9. Urgent prayer for financial breakthrough for me and my husband
10. Ability to finish our projects for farming and building upcountry house
11. Ability to take care of our parents back at home and uplift our relatives
to help themselves and be able to assist my two brothers who are not married to meet the right spouses who will be a blessing to them.
12. To help us to find favour in life and with God so far
13. to reverse any curse and any diseases and hide us from any evil eyes or
evil talk about our life.
Kindly help me to be prayerful all year round and at least get time to attend the retreats.
