We come before the Lord with a heartfelt plea for your upcoming job interview. It is written in Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." We know that the Lord is your provider, and we trust in His perfect plan for your life.
First, we must address the foundation of our prayers. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. Acts 4:12 tells us, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ, we encourage you to do so. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9).
Now, let us pray for your job interview:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this dear one who is seeking employment. Lord, You know the desires of their heart, and You know what is best for them. We ask that You open the door to this job opportunity if it aligns with Your will. Prepare their heart and mind for the interview, grant them wisdom, clarity, and confidence as they answer each question. May they be a light for You in that place, reflecting Your love and grace.
Lord, we also pray for peace that surpasses all understanding to guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Remove any anxiety or fear, replacing it with trust in You. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we rebuke any spirit of fear or doubt in the name of Jesus.
Father, we ask that You bless them with favor in the eyes of the interviewers. Let Your Holy Spirit guide their words and actions, that they may find grace and good understanding in the sight of all who meet them (Proverbs 3:4). If this job is not Your will, Lord, we ask that You close this door and open another that is better suited for them.
We also pray for provision in this time of waiting. You are Jehovah Jireh, our provider, and we trust that You will meet every need according to Your riches in glory. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to trust in You with all their heart, leaning not on their own understanding (Proverbs 3:5).
In all things, may Your name be glorified. We ask these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer and reading His Word. Psalm 37:4-5 says, "Also delight yourself in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this." Trust in the Lord, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:6).
Remember, the Lord is your shepherd, and you shall not be in want (Psalm 23:1). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2). He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). Stand firm in your faith, and watch the Lord move on your behalf.
