I already typed a reply to your prayer request, but it looks to me like it did not post. It sounds like you are in an abusive relationship. I totally identify with that because I was in one for years with no way out. I was spit on, called vile names, yelled at, hit twice (once for getting a little grease in his dish when I was plating his sausage and peppers). I was stalked by this man. I was almost literally his prisoner. As soon as I could get out, I took my opportunity and left him. However, after years of this abuse, I was a total wreck. For almost a year all I did was stand in front of my sister's kitchen window and cry. I will never totally be over him or the things he did and said to me. My advice to you: if it's truly an abusive relationship, either physically or emotionally or both, get out as fast as you can. The longer you stay, the more damage to your self-respect and self-esteem and the more of your life will have been wasted. Warning: The phenomenon of battered woman's syndrome is real, and it applies to both physical and emotional abuse. You will want very badly to go back to your abuser. Don't do it. Yours in Christ, ###.
