Beloved of All
Dear lord

Please give me back my last job amen

Make someone refer me or recommend me amen

Other people have done it in this company amen

We hear your deep longing to return to your previous employment, and we stand with you in seeking God’s provision and restoration. The desire for stability, purpose, and the ability to provide for yourself and your family is a weighty one, and we lift it before the Lord with sincerity.

First, we must acknowledge that our prayers are not merely wishes cast into the wind—they are conversations with the Almighty, offered in the name of Jesus Christ, who is the only mediator between God and man (1 Timothy 2:5). It is through His name alone that we have access to the Father, and it is by His blood that we are made righteous. If you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we encourage you to do so, for there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). Salvation is the foundation upon which all other prayers rest, and it is the starting point for a life aligned with God’s will.

Now, let us pray together for your situation:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this dear one who seeks restoration in their employment. Lord, You are the God who opens doors that no man can shut and who provides for Your children in ways we cannot always see (Revelation 3:8). We ask that You would make a way where there seems to be no way, that You would soften the hearts of those in authority at this company, and that You would grant favor where it is needed. If it is Your will, Lord, restore this job to them, or open an even better door of opportunity that aligns with Your purpose for their life.

We also pray for wisdom and discernment. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us to trust in You with all our heart and not lean on our own understanding, acknowledging You in all our ways so that You can direct our paths. Father, if there are steps this person needs to take—whether it be humbling themselves, seeking reconciliation, or pursuing new skills—grant them the clarity and courage to follow Your leading. If pride or bitterness has taken root in their heart, uproot it, Lord, and replace it with Your peace and grace.

We rebuke any spirit of fear or desperation that may be driving this request, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare that this person is not defined by their employment status but by their identity in Christ. Remind them, Lord, that You are their Provider (Philippians 4:19) and that their worth is found in You alone.

Father, we also ask that You would raise up godly connections and advocates for this person. If it is Your will for them to return to this company, prepare the hearts of those who can recommend or refer them. Let Your favor rest upon them like a shield (Psalm 5:12), and let integrity and diligence mark their steps as they seek to honor You in their work.

We trust You, Lord, to work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). Whether this job is restored or a new opportunity arises, we pray that this season would draw them closer to You and deepen their reliance on Your faithfulness. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

In addition to prayer, we encourage you to take practical steps as well. Seek the Lord’s guidance through His Word and in quiet reflection, asking Him to reveal any areas in your life that may need adjustment or repentance. Consider reaching out to former colleagues or supervisors with humility and grace, not demanding but inquiring if there are opportunities or ways you can contribute. Proverbs 16:3 reminds us to commit our work to the Lord, and our plans will be established. Let your efforts be marked by excellence and a spirit of servanthood, for whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters (Colossians 3:23).

If this company is not where God intends for you to be, trust that He has something better in store. The Lord knows your needs before you even ask (Matthew 6:8), and He is faithful to provide. Do not grow weary in doing good, for at the proper time you will reap a harvest if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and let His peace guard your heart and mind in this season.

We're right there with you, friend, hoping and praying for your job's return. It's tough, we know, feeling like you're in limbo, but remember, God's got you in His hands. He sees your struggle, and He cares. We've been lifting your situation up to Him, asking Him to soften hearts and open doors. We've also been praying for wisdom, that you'd know the right steps to take, and for peace, that you'd trust God in this waiting season.

We've been reminded of Psalm 37:25, "I was young and now I am old, yet I have never seen the righteous forsaken or their children begging for bread." God is faithful, and He will provide. Keep trusting, keep seeking, and keep knocking. He's right there with you.

We're also praying for divine connections, that God would bring the right people across your path who can vouch for you or open doors. Keep your heart open to those opportunities, and don't forget to reach out to your network with humility and grace.

Remember, friend, your worth isn't defined by your job title. You're a child of God, loved and cherished. Keep your eyes on Him, and trust that He's working all things together for your good.

Let's keep praying together, okay? In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy.

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We are truly grateful that you entrusted us with your prayer request, allowing us to stand with you in seeking the Lord’s provision and favor. It has been on our hearts to continue lifting you up before our Heavenly Father, asking Him to restore what was lost and open doors of opportunity that no man can shut.

We are praying specifically that the Lord would move in the hearts of those in authority at your former workplace, softening them to remember your contributions and consider you once more for your position. We also ask that He would raise up voices on your behalf—people who will speak well of you, recommend you, and advocate for your return. Just as others have been reinstated in that company, we believe God can do the same for you, according to His perfect will and timing.

If the Lord has already answered this prayer in some way, we would love to hear your praise report so we can rejoice with you. If you are still waiting, please know we will continue to stand in agreement with you, trusting that God is working even when we cannot see it. Let us not grow weary in prayer, for the Lord is faithful to hear and answer.

May He bless you with peace, patience, and unwavering faith as you seek Him. We pray all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus. Amen.
