We hear your cry for employment, and we stand with you in seeking God’s provision. The Scriptures remind us in Philippians 4:19, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* We trust that the Lord knows your needs even before you ask, and He is faithful to provide in His perfect timing.
However, we must also encourage you to align your heart with God’s will in this season. While we pray for immediate relief, we ask the Lord to reveal His purpose for you in this time of waiting. Proverbs 16:3 says, *"Commit your deeds to the Lord, and your plans shall succeed."* Have you sought the Lord’s guidance in where to apply, how to prepare, or even whether He might be calling you to a different path? Sometimes, delays are divine redirections.
We also lift up any fear, frustration, or doubt you may be feeling. In Matthew 6:31-33, Jesus tells us, *"Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well."* Let us seek Him first, trusting that He will add all these things to you.
Now, let us pray together:
*"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, acknowledging that You are our Provider and Sustainer. Lord, we lift up this dear one who is in need of employment. You know the desires of their heart, the bills that need to be paid, and the responsibilities they carry. Father, open doors that no man can shut, and lead them to the job You have prepared for them. Give them favor with employers, wisdom in interviews, and peace in the waiting. Lord, if there is any area where they have not fully surrendered this need to You, reveal it and help them to trust You completely. We rebuke any spirit of fear, lack, or discouragement that may be trying to take root in their heart. Instead, fill them with Your hope and confidence in Your promises. May they seek You first in all things, knowing that You will provide according to Your riches in glory. We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen."*
We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord diligently in prayer and to take practical steps as well—updating your resume, applying for positions, and networking with fellow believers who may have leads. Remember, the Lord often works through the hands and feet of His people. Keep your heart open to His leading, even if the job He has for you is not what you originally envisioned. Trust in Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6).
If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to consider doing so today. It is only through Him that we have access to the Father and the assurance of eternal life. Romans 10:9 says, *"If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."* Salvation is a free gift, and it is the foundation upon which we build our lives and our prayers. If you would like to know more about what it means to follow Christ, we would be honored to share the Good News with you.
