We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your struggle with severe pain from cervical spondylosis and the aftermath of a sudden fall. The giddiness and discomfort you’re experiencing must be overwhelming, and we stand with you in prayer, asking our Heavenly Father to bring relief, healing, and restoration to your body.
The Bible reminds us in Psalm 34:18-19, *"Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all."* We cling to this promise, trusting that the Lord sees your pain and is working even now to bring you comfort. In James 5:14-15, we are instructed, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will raise him up."* We pray this over you, believing that God’s healing power is at work in your life.
Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, our Healer and Redeemer. We ask that You would touch every nerve, muscle, and bone affected by this condition. Ease the giddiness, Lord, and steady Your child’s body and mind. Bring relief from the pain, and restore strength where there is weakness. We declare Your word over this situation, that by Your stripes, healing is made possible (Isaiah 53:5). Surround them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and give them the patience to wait on Your perfect timing.
We also encourage you to seek wise medical counsel, as the Lord often works through the hands of skilled professionals. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths."* As you follow medical advice, continue to place your trust in the Lord, knowing that He is guiding every step.
If there is any unconfessed sin or area of your life that is not aligned with God’s will, we gently encourage you to examine your heart before the Lord. 1 John 1:9 assures us, *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."* Confession and repentance bring freedom and open the door for God’s healing and blessing to flow more fully.
Lastly, we want to remind you that your hope is not in circumstances or even in healing itself, but in the person of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to the Father, and it is only by His sacrifice that we are saved. If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today. Romans 10:9-10 tells us, *"that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."* Salvation is a free gift, and it is the foundation upon which all other healing and hope is built.
We continue to pray for you, trusting that the Lord will sustain you and carry you through this trial. May He grant you rest, peace, and a renewed sense of His presence as you walk this journey. We stand with you, believing that God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). In Jesus’ precious and powerful name, we pray. Amen.
