Disciple of Prayer
I finally received all the parts to fix my vehicle. Prayers I get it fixed tomorrow and have no more issues for a long time. I have to financially get back on track. Also pray that I can reconnect with a guy named ### aka ###. He is recovery from addiction and I really wanna talk to him. I want to support his journey. Thank you Jesus for everything you've done and are about to do. 🙏

We join you in giving thanks to Jesus for what He has done and for what He is about to do, and we stand with you in prayer for these practical needs and for this friendship.

We rejoice that the parts for your vehicle have finally arrived and we pray with you for a successful repair tomorrow and for lasting reliability. We know that God cares about the details of our lives and He is our provider. As it is written, My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19 We also pray for wisdom and diligence as you seek to get financially back on track. The plans of the diligent surely lead to profit. Proverbs 21:5 We ask the Lord to give you wisdom to steward what He has provided, to be diligent in work and faithful in budgeting, and to trust Him to restore and establish you. If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. James 1:5

We also lift up the man you mentioned who is recovering from addiction. We commend your desire to support his journey, for this reflects the heart of Christ to bear one another's burdens. Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ. Galatians 6:2 At the same time we encourage you with biblical wisdom in how you support him. True support does not enable old patterns but points him to Christ, to accountability, and to godly community. No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it. 1 Corinthians 10:13 We pray he will find his strength and identity in Jesus, for if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new. 2 Corinthians 5:17 We encourage you to pray for him, to encourage his connection to a Bible believing church, to recovery ministry and to mature believers who can walk with him, and to maintain healthy boundaries so that your help is truly helpful.

If your desire to reconnect is more than friendship and you are considering courtship, we encourage you to seek the Lord's will for a godly marriage. We believe marriage is a lifelong covenant between a man and a woman that honors God, and courtship should be pursued with that purpose, with purity and with a fellow believer in Christ. Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. 2 Corinthians 6:14 Whether this is a friendship or a potential courtship, we pray that your connection would be centered on Christ, free from fornication and impurity, and that you would encourage one another toward holiness. We also pray that you both would guard your hearts and seek counsel from trusted pastors or mature believers.

We pray together now. Father in heaven, we thank You in the name of Jesus for Your provision and Your mercy. We ask You to guide the hands that repair this vehicle tomorrow, let the work be done correctly and completely, and let it run reliably for a long time without further issue. Provide for every financial need, grant wisdom in stewardship, open doors for provision, and help our friend to walk diligently and faithfully as You restore what has been strained. Lord, we lift up this man in recovery to You. Touch his body, mind and spirit, break the chains of addiction, fill him with Your Holy Spirit, and surround him with godly support and accountability. If it is Your will for these two to reconnect, make the way clear and keep the relationship pure, honest and honoring to You. If not, give peace and direction. Lead both of them closer to Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to You and salvation. We trust You for all You have done and all You are about to do. In the name of Jesus Christ we pray, amen.

We're glad you reached out with this update. Waiting for parts and dealing with car trouble while trying to steady your finances is a lot to carry, so we understand why getting this repair done tomorrow feels so important.

We join you in praying the work goes smoothly and the vehicle stays reliable, and that God gives you wisdom as you work to get financially back on track. One small step that often helps in this season is to take an hour after the repair to write out the next month's income and bills on one page, and if possible talk through it with a trusted person at your church or a community financial counselor who can help you make a simple plan. You don't have to figure it all out at once.

We also hear your heart to reconnect with ### and support him as he continues in recovery. Recovery is a long road and community matters so much. If you reach out, a brief, no pressure message letting him know you care and are cheering him on, while encouraging his ongoing connection to his recovery support, can be a kind way to show support without carrying more than is yours to carry.

Father, thank You for providing these parts and for the work ahead tomorrow. Give skill to the hands doing the repair, bring stability in finances, and grant wisdom and healthy boundaries as our friend reaches out to support ###. Lead them both and keep them close to You. In Jesus' name, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

🙏Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so. Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We have heard your prayer and we join our hearts with yours before the throne of grace. You thank Jesus for what He has done and is about to do, and that is right and good, for all our healing lies in Christ and there is nothing in us which could be pointed out as a claim for restoration, though much might be remembered which would ensure our ruin apart from His mercy. He restores the soul according to His grace, and often by dispensations that seem hard He leads us into ways of grace.

We pray for your hands tomorrow as you labor upon your vehicle, that the Lord would grant you skill and steadiness and that the work would be completed well and prove lasting, so that you may go about your duties without further hindrance for a long time. We pray also for wisdom in stewardship as you seek to get financially back on track, that the Lord would give you prudence and diligence and contentment, and that as you grow a little stronger and a little stronger you would acknowledge in each increase that the Lord has a new claim upon your affection.

We pray also for this man whom you have named, who is in recovery from addiction. We remember Peter, who fell and yet was restored, and how his restoration was brought about by two outward means, something in providence and then the look of Christ, and behind it all the prayer of Christ who said, I have prayed for thee. That look severed Peter from the crowd and that prayer prevailed to lift him from among the siftings where Satan had thrown him. So we pray for this man, that he would know that gracious look of Christ and the power of that prevailing prayer, that he would be truly turned to Christ, for there is no restoration apart from Him. Men by nature are like dry bones in the valley, dislocated and without life, till the Lord breathes upon them.

Remember also that restoration is a long process. The weakened limbs only recover strength by slow degrees. The man that long has tossed upon the weary bed of pain does not at once run and leap as before. You may crush in a moment, but you cannot so speedily cure. Wonder not then if recovery should be slow, for him or for yourself, and pray for patience to walk with him steadily, if the Lord opens the door for you to speak again.

If you are permitted to reconnect, may you be used to strengthen your brother as Peter was called to strengthen his brethren after he was restored. Speak the truth in love, point him to fellowship with Jesus not as a luxury for red letter days but as the necessary provision of every day, encourage him to seek sober company, honest labor, and the means of grace, and let your support be prayerful, wise and bounded, seeking his good and the glory of God above all. There is such peace and rest with Christ, and the joy of restoration is best known by those who have been brought back and kept close to Him.

We commend you both to Him who is our Restorer and who has made provision for all your future in a prayer already presented by Christ Himself. May He keep you, provide for you, and make you more useful to others for His sake.

I'm trying my best to get close to God, as I mentioned in the title, by "back" I mean that I've walked away from God at a certain age. In my teens, and now that I'm ###, I've come to realize how important God is in one's life and that we should never give His place to someone or something. I've...
