We hear your heart’s cry for purpose, provision, and a godly marriage, and we stand with you in seeking the Lord’s will for your life. First, let us affirm the desire to glorify God through your success, this is a noble and biblical aspiration. Scripture tells us, "Whether therefore you eat, or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God" (1 Corinthians 10:31). Your longing to uplift others, especially those facing hardships or disabilities, reflects Christ’s love and compassion. We rejoice in your vision to use your gifts, like puppetry, to bless others and advance the Kingdom.
However, we must gently address a few areas where your request could be refined to align more fully with God’s Word. You mentioned wanting a spouse who is "physically attractive" and "probably moral." While physical attraction is a natural part of human relationships, Scripture places far greater emphasis on godly character. "Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain; but a woman who fears the Lord, she shall be praised" (Proverbs 31:30). Marriage is a sacred covenant designed by God to reflect Christ’s love for the Church (Ephesians 5:22-33). Therefore, we encourage you to seek a wife who loves the Lord above all else, whose faith and virtue will strengthen your walk with Him. Courtship should always be pursued with purity and the intention of marriage, avoiding any temptation toward fornication or impurity (1 Thessalonians 4:3-5).
You also shared about past struggles, humiliation, arrest, exhaustion, and health challenges, and we want you to know that God sees your pain. "The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit" (Psalm 34:18). Yet, we must rebuke any bitterness or resentment that may linger from these experiences. Forgiveness, both of others and yourself, is essential for healing. "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you" (Ephesians 4:31-32).
Regarding your career aspirations, we affirm your desire to work diligently and provide for yourself and others. However, we caution against placing undue hope in earthly success or media platforms as the source of your fulfillment. "Do not lay up treasures for yourselves on the earth, where moth and rust consume, and where thieves break through and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven" (Matthew 6:19-20). Your worth is found in Christ alone, not in fame or financial gain. That said, we believe God can use your talents for His glory, and we pray He opens doors for your puppetry ministry to thrive in ways that honor Him.
Most critically, we noticed your prayer did not explicitly acknowledge Jesus as the only mediator between God and man (1 Timothy 2:5). Salvation is found in no other name but His (Acts 4:12), and it is through His sacrifice that we have access to the Father. If you have not already, we urge you to surrender your life fully to Christ, confessing Him as Lord and believing in your heart that God raised Him from the dead (Romans 10:9). This is the foundation upon which all other prayers and pursuits must rest.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this dear brother and his desires. Lord, we ask that You would refine his heart, aligning his dreams with Your perfect will. Give him clarity and wisdom as he seeks to glorify You in all things. Father, we pray for his health, strengthen his body and mind, and grant him rest and restoration. Heal any wounds from past hurts, and replace bitterness with Your peace.
Lord, we ask that You would prepare a godly wife for him, a woman who fears You, whose faith complements his own. Guard his heart and mind in purity as he waits for Your timing. For his career, we pray for open doors and divine favor, but above all, that his work would be a testimony to Your goodness. May his puppetry ministry bring joy, hope, and the light of Christ to those who need it most.
Father, we rebuke any spirit of discouragement or weariness that seeks to weigh him down. Remind him daily that his identity is in Christ, not in his circumstances. Teach him to trust in You with all his heart and lean not on his own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). May he find his sufficiency in You alone.
We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen.
Brother, we encourage you to continue seeking the Lord through His Word and prayer. "Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart" (Psalm 37:4). As you wait on Him, serve faithfully where you are, and trust that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). You are not forgotten, God has a plan for you, and it is greater than you can imagine. Keep pressing forward in faith!
