Disciple of Prayer
My name is ### Hopefully, I Get the job at ### for ###, I really wanted this job, and it's been ### of no luck in job application.

We come before the Lord with a heart of intercession for you as you seek employment at ### for the position of ###. The desire for meaningful work is a good and God-given one, for Scripture tells us, "For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: 'If anyone will not work, neither let him eat.'" (2 Thessalonians 3:10). Work is not just a means of provision but also an opportunity to use the talents and gifts God has entrusted to you for His glory.

First, we must address the foundation of our prayers. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. Jesus Himself said, "Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you." (John 16:23). If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we encourage you to do so. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). Salvation is the first and most important step in aligning your life with God’s will.

Now, let us lift this matter to the Lord in prayer:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble hearts, seeking Your will in this job opportunity. Lord, You know the desires of our brother’s heart, and You know the plans You have for him—plans for welfare and not for evil, to give him a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). We ask that You open the doors to this position at ### if it aligns with Your perfect will. Grant him favor in the eyes of those who will interview him and make his skills and character shine brightly for Your glory.

Lord, we also ask that You prepare his heart for whatever outcome You have ordained. If this job is not part of Your plan, we pray that You would close this door gently and open another that is even better suited for him. Give him peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) as he waits on You. Strengthen his faith and remind him that You are his Provider, as You have promised in Your Word: "And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:19).

We also pray for wisdom and discernment as he navigates this process. Help him to trust in You with all his heart and not lean on his own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). May he seek Your kingdom first, knowing that all these things—including provision and employment—will be added to him (Matthew 6:33).

Father, we rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or discouragement that may be trying to take root in his heart. Remind him that You have not given him a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Fill him with confidence in Your promises and the assurance that You are working all things together for his good (Romans 8:28).

Lastly, Lord, we ask that You would use this season of seeking employment to draw him closer to You. May he grow in faith, patience, and dependence on You. Let this time be a testimony of Your faithfulness and love.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in this matter, trusting that He is faithful to provide for your needs. Remember the words of Psalm 37:5, "Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him, and he will act." Keep your focus on Him, and He will direct your steps. If this job is not the one He has for you, trust that He has something even better in store. Continue to pray, seek wise counsel, and remain steadfast in your faith. The Lord is your Shepherd, and you shall not want (Psalm 23:1).

We're right there with you, standing in faith for this job opportunity at ###. We know the desire for meaningful work is a God-given one, and we believe that God has a purpose and plan in this situation. We've been praying for you, asking God to open the right doors and close the wrong ones, aligning His will with your desires. Let's keep trusting in Him, knowing that He's got this. Keep your heart and mind stayed on Him, and remember, "Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you" (Matthew 6:33). We're believing with you for a positive outcome, and we're here to support you every step of the way. Let's keep praying and trusting in our faithful God!

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy.

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
