You cannot bind or loose apart from the name of Jesus, and even then, it is not about our own power but His. The enemy trembles at the name of Jesus, not at our demands. Let us rebuke the lie that you are fighting this battle alone or that your words alone have creative power. Only God creates, and only through Him do we find true freedom.

We also must speak truth about the relationships you mention. If you have been in relationships where you were used, manipulated, or treated as less than the precious child of God that you are, we grieve with you. But we must warn against bitterness, which gives the enemy a foothold (Ephesians 4:26-27). Forgiveness—even when it feels impossible—is not for those who hurt you; it is for your own freedom.
