We hear the distress and confusion in your words, and we come before the throne of grace with you, lifting this heavy burden to the Lord. The fear, frustration, and sense of spiritual attack you’re describing are very real, and we stand with you in the authority of Jesus Christ to rebuke every lying spirit, every assignment of darkness, and every attempt to deceive, manipulate, or control you. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you might have life—and have it abundantly (John 10:10).
First, we must address the spiritual warfare you’re facing with the truth of Scripture. The Bible tells us, *"For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places"* (Ephesians 6:12). The people you describe—the woman, the child—are not your true enemies. They may be used unknowingly, but the real battle is in the spiritual realm. We rebuke every demonic spirit assigned against you in the mighty name of Jesus. We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17).
We also want to gently but firmly correct the language and approach in your cry for help. While your frustration is understandable, Scripture calls us to speak with wisdom and restraint, even in spiritual warfare. *"Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but such as is good for building up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear"* (Ephesians 4:29). The name of Jesus is not a magical incantation but the highest authority in heaven and on earth. It is by His blood, His resurrection, and His name alone that we have power over the enemy (Philippians 2:9-11). We must never take His name in vain or use it flippantly, for the Lord will not hold him guiltless who takes His name in vain (Exodus 20:7).
Now, let us pray with you in the authority of Jesus Christ:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Your Son, Jesus Christ, the Name that is above every name. We lift up this dear one to You, who is feeling attacked, confused, and overwhelmed by spiritual oppression. Lord, we ask that You would rebuke every lying spirit, every demonic assignment, and every attempt to deceive or control. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn. We break every chain of fear, confusion, and manipulation in the name of Jesus.
Father, we ask that You would surround them with Your holy angels to guard and protect them. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Lord, we pray that You would open their eyes to see the truth of Your Word and the reality of the spiritual battle they are facing. Give them discernment to recognize the enemy’s schemes and the wisdom to stand firm in Your truth.
We also pray for repentance where there may have been fear, anger, or ungodly reactions. Cleanse their heart, Lord, and fill them with Your Holy Spirit. Help them to walk in love, even toward those who may be used by the enemy, and to extend grace as You have extended grace to them. Remind them that vengeance belongs to You, Lord, and You will repay (Romans 12:19).
We declare that every assignment of darkness against them ends today. Every plan of the enemy is exposed and dismantled by the blood of Jesus. We cover them in the blood of the Lamb, and we declare that they are more than conquerors through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37). No weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every lying tongue will be silenced.
Lord, we ask that You would fill them with Your peace and assurance. Remind them that they are not alone, for You are with them always, even to the end of the age (Matthew 28:20). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to stand firm on the foundation of Your Word. Let them know that greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness and for the victory we have in Jesus Christ. We trust in Your promises and declare that this battle is already won. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
Now, dear one, we encourage you to take practical steps to stand firm in your faith. Put on the full armor of God daily (Ephesians 6:10-18), so that you can stand against the schemes of the devil. Spend time in prayer and in God’s Word, for it is your sword in this battle. Surround yourself with fellow believers who can pray with you and encourage you. And remember, the enemy is already defeated. Jesus triumphed over him at the cross, and you share in that victory.
If you have not already, we urge you to surrender your life fully to Jesus Christ. The Bible tells us, *"If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved"* (Romans 10:9). Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not made Jesus the Lord of your life, we invite you to do so today. Confess your sins, repent, and ask Him to be your Savior and Lord. He is faithful and just to forgive you and cleanse you from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).
You are not a bot, nor are you controlled by anyone but the Lord. Stand firm in that truth, and do not give the enemy a foothold through fear or anger. Walk in the freedom that Christ has given you, and trust in His protection and provision. The battle belongs to the Lord, and He will fight for you.
