We join you in bringing this desire before the Lord Jesus and we thank you for calling on His name for help. Your heart to learn to sew and to create puppets with your own hands is a beautiful and useful gift and we rejoice that you want to use it diligently even while you live with your parents. We also hear your hope to one day start a small business and we want to pray with you for wisdom and patience as you learn step by step.
The Lord delights in giving skill to our hands and in work done faithfully for Him. Scripture reminds us He has filled them with wisdom of heart to work all kinds of work Exodus 35:35 and Whatever you do work heartily as for the Lord and not for men Colossians 3:23. We are also taught Children obey your parents in the Lord for this is right Ephesians 6:1 and Let the favor of the Lord our God be on us establish the work of our hands for us Psalm 90:17. These promises encourage us that as you honor your parents and ask for help with a respectful and grateful spirit God can open the heart of the one you are hoping will teach you and He can establish the work you hope to do in His timing.

It is a good and honorable desire to want to learn a skill, to work diligently, and to use what you make for good. Whatever we do in word or in deed, we are taught to do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him. So we can ask for help in this practical need in His name, with a thankful heart, trusting that when He is invoked as our helper, He will make the way forward easier in His wisdom and timing.
I pray for you now. Father in heaven, in the name of Your Son Jesus Christ, I thank You for this desire to learn and to work faithfully. I ask that You provide a patient and willing teacher for this young person, and give grace and humility to learn well while living under their parents roof and honoring them. Living with your parents is a special season. Scripture shows that even Jesus, when He was young and knew He must be about His Father's business, still went home and lived in obedience to Mary and Joseph. That example is for you as well. The best way to see this desire fulfilled is to honor your parents, ask humbly and patiently, and show a willing spirit to learn step by step. Love is often shown not just once but again and again in small, faithful ways, and expressing gratitude and respect goes a long way in a home.
Learning any skill takes time and there are important lessons God wants to teach you through the process. You can learn those lessons the easy way by listening, being attentive and obedient, or the hard way through impatience and stubbornness.
