Get My Picture on ###.

Humble Prayer Partner
Dear Lord Please help me send a picture for ### for this year and another one for next year. Please let them accept it real soon. Just a few days after I posted I really really really want share. Same line person works almost nearly devices would really be a bit of a break for me or start In Jesus Name Amen.

We hear your heart and your desire to share your picture, and we understand the eagerness behind your request. However, we must first address a few important matters with love and truth, as Scripture calls us to speak the truth in love (Ephesians 4:15).

Your prayer mentions "In Jesus Name" at the end, and we are grateful for that, for there is no other name by which we can approach God or be saved. Jesus Himself said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6). If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we encourage you to do so. Salvation comes by grace through faith in Him alone (Ephesians 2:8-9). Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9-10).

Now, regarding your request, we want to gently remind you that our focus as believers should always be on God’s will and His timing, not our own desires, no matter how strong they may feel. The Bible tells us, "Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart" (Psalm 37:4). This does not mean God will give us everything we want, but as we seek Him first, He shapes our desires to align with His perfect will.

We also want to encourage you to examine the purpose behind sharing your picture. Is this for vanity, pride, or worldly approval? Scripture warns us, "Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him" (1 John 2:15). If this request is tied to seeking validation or approval from others, we must rebuke that spirit in Jesus’ name. Our worth comes from Christ alone, not from the acceptance of others (Galatians 1:10).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this request to You, asking that You would align this dear one’s heart with Your will. Lord, if this desire is from You, we ask that You open the doors and grant favor in this matter. But if it is not Your will, we pray that You would replace this desire with a hunger for You and Your purposes.

Father, we rebuke any spirit of impatience, pride, or worldly approval that may be at work here. We ask that You fill this heart with Your peace and contentment, reminding them that their identity is found in Christ alone. Help them to seek You first in all things, trusting that You will provide according to Your perfect plan.

Lord, if this individual has not yet surrendered their life to You, we pray that You would draw them to Yourself. May they confess their sins, believe in Your Son Jesus Christ, and receive the gift of eternal life. Let them walk in the freedom and joy that comes from knowing You.

We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

We encourage you to spend time in prayer and Scripture, seeking God’s will above your own. If this request is truly from Him, He will make a way. But if it is not, trust that He has something better in store. "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope" (Jeremiah 29:11). Keep your eyes on Jesus, and He will direct your path.

We're lifting this with you, the tension of waiting for a simple acceptance can feel far heavier than it looks on the outside. You’ve already taken the step of sending it in, and now the in-between can wear on you, especially when it feels like a small "yes" would bring a real break. We understand that longing for things to just work the way they’re supposed to.

While we wait with you, we’re asking God to move the hearts of whomever reviews your submission, and to grant you the steady patience to get through these next few days without the weight pressing too hard. Sometimes the best thing we can do in a waiting stretch is to put the refresh button down and do one ordinary thing that occupies our hands or mind for a while, not to fake peace, but to let our nervous system settle a bit. You’ve done your part; now we trust the Lord’s care over the part you can’t control.

Father, we bring this request about the picture submission. You know how much this means and what hangs in the balance. Please open the way for a quick, favorable acceptance, both this time and for next year's need. Calm the restlessness, steady the heart, and provide the relief that’s so needed. We ask this in Jesus' name, amen.

Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. Thank you and praise you. In your holy name I pray. Amen.

You have prayed that your picture may be accepted, and you have asked it in Jesus’ name. But ponder for a moment, what is this picture but a fleeting shadow, a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away? The Word of God paints a true picture of your life: swift, uncertain, like a tale that is told. The Lord’s people are a happy people because they have a portion they can die with, an inheritance that neither moth nor rust corrupt, nor thieves break through and steal. Yet here you set your heart on a thing that perishes with the using, as though a few days’ delay were a burden almost too heavy to bear.

This is a trial for your faith. Do not break a way for yourself; it can never be right to do a wrong thing. Stand still and see the salvation of God. If He grants this request, receive it with thanksgiving; if He forbids it, kiss the rod and learn that the true acceptance is not in a magazine but in the Beloved. Jesus is entered into the heavens for us, can we doubt our acceptance with God? The year of Jubilee has come, and no man pays a penny of redemption money; you are set free simply because the proclamation is made. Seek that freedom first.

Let your chief longing be to have your name written in the Lamb’s book of life, that picture shall never fade. If you are a sincere soul, the fire of acceptance will descend, not on a photograph, but on the living sacrifice of a heart that treasures Christ as the bread of life. He alone meets the deep hunger of the new nature. Even now, in your eagerness, He is calling you to taste and see that He is good. Then, whether your picture is published or cast aside, you will find a pleasure that can make your dying pillow soft and a hope that carries you through every shifting scene. That is the picture worth seeking.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You speak of a picture with many words of urgency, saying "really really really" you want this. But consider what is truly urgent. Our Lord Himself, when He spoke of Lazarus, said "He is dead" only when the disciples were reluctant, to show that going there was necessary. What then is necessary for your soul? The Apostle Paul did not put everything into his writings, but only things necessary and urgent, so as not to draw matters out to a length. Is this picture, this posting on a device, a matter of such necessity?

The parables must not be explained throughout word for word, since many absurdities will follow. So too with our prayers. If we insist on every detail of our desire, interpreting our wishes literally, what absurdity may follow? The Lord interprets only those parts that are most urgent and essential, signifying Himself to be Judge and Lord of all. You ask for a picture to be accepted soon, for a break to start in your life through this. But is not the break your soul truly needs to be found in entering another condition entirely? It is not that we change one small circumstance, but that God creates us anew. And well does Scripture employ the word "create," and not "change," to point out the power of what is done. Seek that new creation, not merely a new line on a screen.

Why such restless longing for this one request? If you were to translate the etymologies of your own desires, you might derive great matter of divine speculation. What is the root of this wish? A break for yourself, you say. But let us keep the fear of eternal things arising in vigor, that we may escape the actual punishment. Picture to yourself the judgment, and consider, test we too suffer the same. All these things then let us picture to ourselves, not the images on our devices, but the image of Christ the Judge.

Do not say, "He ought to bring this about, even against the order of things." Away with this. Unbelief and frustration come not from Him that calls, but from those who start away from His timing. It is not without purpose that our requests are sometimes delayed or denied. Observe the wisdom of God; He does not put everything into our hands at once, lest we be drawn out to a length of worldly attachment. Sometimes He entrusts us with silence, to make us more respected by our having somewhat to wait for, showing His own affection towards us.

Commend this matter to the faithful minister and fellow-servant, the Lord Jesus Christ. If He is faithful, He will speak no falsehood; if a fellow-servant, He has shared your trials. He knows what is truly urgent. Let your prayer be simply this: "Thy will be done." For even the urgent representations of our own wills cannot oblige the Almighty to act as we demand. Trust the One who creates both Jew and Gentile into one new man. That is a matter urgent and essential. Attain unto the eternal blessings, and these small breaks will find their proper place, by the grace and love towards man of our Lord Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever. Amen.

I hear the longing in your prayer for something to finally shift, for a door to open that would lighten the load. The desire itself isn’t strange, many of us understand wanting one break, one yes, after seasons of striving. But hidden in that longing can be a deeper test: whether we’ll trust the picture God is already painting in our lives, or whether impatience tempts us to force a brushstroke He hasn’t prepared.

Think of Moses at the rock. God told him to speak, but in frustration he struck it, and in doing so, he marred the illustration God was revealing. He wanted the water now, in his own way, and that rush muddled something holy. When we fixate on a particular outcome, acceptance of a photo, a platform, a deadline, we can end up grasping for control that belongs to the Lord. It’s not wrong to ask, but if the answer delays, could it be God is protecting you from a counterfeit satisfaction? Sometimes we reach for the world’s recognition because we’ve lost the deep contentment of simply being known by Christ.

Jesus didn’t chase the world’s spotlight. When He fed the thousands, He met their physical hunger, but then He pointed them to something greater: His body broken, the true bread that satisfies forever. That middle wafer broken at the table is our communion with Him. If your heart is restless, craving this picture to be accepted so you can finally feel a sense of relief or worth, pause and ask: Am I drawing life from that hope, or from the One who already gave everything for me? A yes from people can feel like a feast, but it leaves the soul empty unless Christ is the first portion.

I know the waiting is hard. It’s easy to look at the current frame and think nothing good can come. The prophetic picture of your life feels incomplete, and you want the next scene to arrive. But God sees the full scroll, not just the torn seal. He often seems to step back and let men pursue their own schemes, yet He never breaks His covenant. Even when you feel stuck between Egypt and the promised land, too much of the world to be happy in Christ, too much of Christ to be happy in the world, He hasn’t abandoned you. That tension is meant to drive you deeper into His arms, not toward a quick fix.

So bring this request back to the Lord, but surrender the timing. Commit your cause to Him, letting go of any vengeance against circumstances that have held you back. He is faithful, even if your strength seems spent in vain for a season. And whether the picture is accepted or not, your worth remains sealed by the Father who revealed His Son to you not through flesh and blood, but from heaven. Rest there. Let that be your break and your start.
