Humble Servant
Dear Lord Jesus, My parents are not seeing I die with me. They still think of getting me humiliating boring jobs and ignore everything humiliation obey isolation even deaf. After so many unsuccessful attempts trying to get to a ### job and getting fired. I really don’t wanna work at another ###. Really want to do my puppet kick I really need this and it will help other people to give them jobs. Done with Christian media and a Christian honoring your name to and money be used for good. Please help me get this gig immediately because I’m sick and tired of having to still live with my parents unemployed before humiliating ### job was a seasonal suit job and I was happy to help where I was needed. I spent six days for three weeks straight out in the dying heat. Who I worked at, I had to give excruciating lectures and die in the heat as I tried to explain I was ignored No more no more heat I’ve had enough of them. I want to work with puppets and I can really help my career Make a lot more money, win myself, wife people, love my artwork and creativity and they have in the past and this you know do even better. And other people like I’ve said will benefit. It’s some examples. I know I have a blind friend. I met a few years church reunion lost strap before Covid. God asked with a bunch of other people. Mr. it’s not even in the 60s had to retire as bad health conditions in a cane. He’s a musician so he would be perfect to help too. And make the money he needs and hopefully you live another few decades so that his grandkids don’t go into college that In Jesus Name Amen.

We hear the deep frustration and weariness in your heart, and we want to lift you up in prayer with both compassion and truth. First, we commend you for ending your prayer in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and find true hope (John 14:6, Acts 4:12). Your desire to use your creativity for God’s glory and to help others is a beautiful reflection of the gifts He has given you, and we encourage you to steward them well.

However, we must gently but firmly address some concerns in your request. The language and tone you’ve used—especially the repeated obscenities (even if censored)—are not honoring to God. Scripture tells us, *"Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but only what is good for building others up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear"* (Ephesians 4:29). Frustration is understandable, but as believers, we are called to bring even our struggles before the Lord with reverence and trust, not with bitterness or language that dishonors Him (Philippians 4:6-7). We also notice a spirit of resentment toward your parents and past employers. While we understand your pain, Scripture calls us to honor our parents (Exodus 20:12) and to work *"heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men"* (Colossians 3:23), even in difficult circumstances. Humiliation and hardship can be refined by God to shape our character (James 1:2-4), and we must guard our hearts against anger or despair.

Your passion for puppetry and creativity is clear, and we pray God opens doors for you to use these gifts in ways that align with His will. But we must also caution you: your focus seems heavily fixed on financial success, independence from your parents, and even finding a wife—all good desires in themselves, but dangerous if they become idols. Jesus warns, *"Don’t lay up treasures for yourselves on the earth... but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven"* (Matthew 6:19-20). Seek first His kingdom and righteousness, and He will provide what you need (Matthew 6:33). If God has called you to this work, trust Him to make the way, even if it doesn’t happen as quickly as you’d like.

We also sense a deep loneliness and longing for purpose in your words. Remember, your identity is not in your job, your art, or even a future spouse—it is in Christ alone (Galatians 2:20). If you are feeling isolated, we urge you to plug into a biblical church community where you can be discipled, encouraged, and held accountable. Iron sharpens iron (Proverbs 27:17), and you need brothers and sisters in Christ to walk alongside you.

As for your blind friend, we join you in praying for his provision and health. It’s wonderful that you want to bless others through your work, but be careful not to presume upon God’s timing or will for his life. We can ask boldly, but we must also submit to God’s sovereignty, trusting that His plans are good (Jeremiah 29:11).

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we lift up our brother to You, knowing that You see his heart, his struggles, and his desires. Lord, forgive him for any bitterness, resentment, or language that has not honored You. Cleanse his heart and renew his mind (Romans 12:2) so that he may walk in patience, trust, and obedience. Father, You have given him creative gifts, and we ask that You open doors for him to use them in ways that bring You glory. If it is Your will for him to work in puppetry or media, make the path clear and provide the connections and resources he needs. But above all, help him to seek Your kingdom first, trusting that You will provide all things in Your perfect timing.

Lord, we pray for healing in his relationship with his parents. Soften his heart toward them and give him grace to honor them, even when it’s difficult. Help him to see this season of dependence not as humiliation, but as an opportunity to grow in faith and humility. Provide for his financial needs and give him contentment in You, regardless of his circumstances (Philippians 4:11-13).

Father, if it is Your will for him to marry, prepare him now to be a godly husband. But guard his heart from idolatry or impatience. Let his focus be on You alone. We also lift up his blind friend to You. Provide for his needs, heal his body as You see fit, and use him mightily for Your kingdom.

Break any spirit of despair or entitlement in our brother’s life. Fill him with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and remind him that his labor in You is never in vain (1 Corinthians 15:58). Give him wisdom to steward his time, talents, and relationships well. Surround him with godly community that will encourage and challenge him.

We rebuke any lies of the enemy that tell him he is forgotten, worthless, or beyond Your care. Remind him that You see him, You love him, and You have a plan for him (Psalm 139:13-16). Let him find his joy and satisfaction in You alone.

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.

Brother, we encourage you to spend time in Scripture daily, especially in the Psalms (for honesty before God) and the Gospels (to remember Jesus’ heart for the weary). Consider memorizing Philippians 4:6-7 and Proverbs 3:5-6 as anchors for your soul. If you are not already in a church, we urge you to find one where the Word is preached faithfully and where you can grow alongside other believers. Keep seeking the Lord, and trust that He is working, even when you can’t see it. *"The Lord is close to the brokenhearted, and saves those who have a crushed spirit"* (Psalm 34:18). Stay faithful.

We're glad to see your passion for using your creativity to serve God and others. Let's keep that fire burning, but let's also ensure we're walking in a way that honors Him. Remember, our focus should be on seeking His kingdom first, and all else will fall into place (Matthew 6:33).
