Dear Lord Jesus, I haven’t had too much luck, but my shrink who I work with has helped me found somebody. I hope this person can please help me land a spot on national TV before my next birthday by the end of the year in the meantime, please let me call other places to get a hold of them effective immediately and get what I need and please let everything work. We should please let me lay my TV spot before the end of the year. I’m quite nervous about it and I would really like that spot. A brief cameo whatever it is just please let me land it OK I wanna be seen or maybe my hand could be for the puppet and my voice be heard please let me get there before my next birthdates by the end of the year please Lord I’m begging you now. I’m gonna try to make some phone calls and please give me some luck and that I need your luck from you Angel of mercy please I’m already living a lonely life. I need stimulation discriminated, bro ### I’ve had enough out in the sun being bit by bugs. I need your help Lord please help me be productive. In Jesus Name Amen.

We hear your deep longing for recognition, purpose, and a breakthrough in your life. Your desire to be seen, heard, and to contribute meaningfully is understandable, especially after feeling overlooked or sidelined for so long. However, we must gently address a few things in your prayer that do not align with biblical truth.

First, you mentioned appealing to an "Angel of mercy." Scripture is clear that we are to pray only to God the Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, who is our sole mediator (1 Timothy 2:5). Angels are messengers and servants of God, not objects of worship or prayer. To pray to anyone other than God, whether angels, saints, or any other being, is unbiblical and dangerous. Jesus Himself taught us to pray, "Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name" (Matthew 6:9). There is no other name by which we can be saved or have our prayers heard (Acts 4:12).

Second, your prayer reflects a deep hunger for validation and stimulation, which is natural, but we must examine whether this pursuit aligns with God’s will for your life. While ambition and creativity are gifts from God, we must ensure they are used to glorify Him and not merely to satisfy our own desires for fame or escape from loneliness. The Bible warns us, "For what does it profit a man to gain the whole world, and forfeit his soul?" (Mark 8:36). We encourage you to seek God’s purpose for your life above all else, trusting that He will open doors no one can shut (Revelation 3:8).

Your loneliness and frustration are real, and we do not dismiss them. However, we must rebuke the spirit of bitterness or despair that may be creeping in. The enemy wants you to feel forgotten, but God says, "I will never leave you nor forsake you" (Hebrews 13:5). Instead of placing your hope in a TV spot or external validation, we encourage you to seek fulfillment in Christ first. He is the one who fills the void in our hearts and gives us true purpose.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this dear one to You, who is feeling lonely, overlooked, and desperate for a breakthrough. Lord, You see their heart and their longing to be used for something greater. We ask that You would align their desires with Your will, Father. If this TV opportunity is from You, we pray that You would open the right doors and connect them with the right people. Give them favor, wisdom, and boldness as they make calls and pursue this dream.

But Lord, we also ask that You would guard their heart. Help them to seek You first above all else, trusting that You have a plan for their life that is good and perfect (Jeremiah 29:11). If this pursuit is not Your will, we pray that You would close the door gently and redirect their steps toward something that will bring You glory and them true fulfillment.

Father, we rebuke the spirit of loneliness and despair that has taken hold. Remind them that You are their comfort, their strength, and their ever-present help in times of trouble (Psalm 46:1). Fill them with Your peace and assurance that they are never alone. Help them to find their worth in You, not in the approval of others or the fleeting validation of the world.

Lord, we also ask that You would heal any wounds of discrimination or rejection they have faced. You are a God of justice, and we trust that You will vindicate them in Your perfect timing. Give them the courage to press forward, not in their own strength, but in Yours.

Finally, Father, we pray that You would draw them closer to You. May they find their identity in Christ and their purpose in serving You. Help them to use their talents and creativity for Your kingdom, not just for personal gain. We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus, who is our only mediator and the one who makes our prayers acceptable to You. Amen.

We encourage you to spend time in God’s Word, seeking His face above all else. Psalm 37:4 says, "Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart." This doesn’t mean He will give you everything you want, but as you delight in Him, He will shape your desires to align with His will. Trust that He has a plan for you, and it is far greater than anything you could imagine.

If you are not already, consider getting involved in a local church where you can use your gifts to serve others. Sometimes, God uses our service to others to open unexpected doors and bring fulfillment we never thought possible. Keep pressing into Him, and He will guide your steps.

We hear how much it means to you to be seen and heard, to have a chance to do something meaningful before your birthday. That longing is real, and it’s tangled up with the loneliness and frustration you’ve been carrying. Working with your ### has already brought a helpful connection, and that is a sign of good care. We’re grateful you’ve got that support.

Loneliness has a way of making every other need feel more urgent. When you said you need stimulation and are tired of being out in the sun bitten by bugs, it painted a picture of how stuck and worn down you feel. Sometimes the best next step isn’t another big reach for a far-off goal, but steadying ourselves in a place where we simply belong, where people know our name and our voice matters, even without a spotlight. If you can, consider one small step into a community that meets consistently, whether through your church or a support group. Sitting with others in worship, even when it’s hard, can gradually loosen that isolation. It won’t fix everything at once, but it puts you in a room where you’re not alone and where God is present in the voices around you.

In the meantime, it’s okay to make those phone calls. You’re doing what you can, and we’ll ask God to give you favor where it’s needed. What we won’t do is tie your worth to landing that spot. You already matter, and your voice already counts.

Let’s pray:

Jesus, you see this one who feels forgotten and overlooked. Calm the nervousness and lift the heavy loneliness. Open the right doors for meaningful work that uses their gifts, whether or not it comes with a TV screen. Surround them with people who value them as you do. Give the ### wisdom, and grant steady courage for each phone call. In your name, amen.

You sit there with a telephone in your hand and a dream in your heart, and the dream feels so fragile that you are half afraid to speak it aloud. I hear you. You have been out in the glare long enough, little stings biting at your soul until you are weary of the whole business. You want to be seen, really seen. You want your voice to be heard somewhere that matters. You have begged the Lord for a door to open before your birthday comes around again, and the begging has come from a place deep inside you, a place that is lonely and tired of being overlooked. That ache is not a small thing to the One who made you.

Think for a moment of your Savior. He knows what it is to long for companionship and to find His friends slipping away just when He needed them most. On the night before He died, He told His disciples plainly, “You will leave Me alone.” And they did. Yet He added something so steadying: “Yet I am not alone, because the Father is with Me.” That is a deep well for a thirsty soul. Human eyes may not notice you; a television audience may never applaud your name; but the Father’s eye has never once turned away from you. You are never lost in the crowd to Him. There are secret marks upon every true child of God, and He knows them as a mother knows the hidden birthmark of her own infant. He sees you, not the rough outline of you, but the innermost you. Your voice does not need a screen or a puppet to reach His ear; it is already heard in the courts of heaven.

I am not mocking your desire. I know it presses upon you, and you have been making calls and trying to get hold of the right people. That is not wrong in itself. But let me set this before you: the deepest rest is not found in a broadcast, but in being straightened up by the hand of Christ. There was a woman who came to the synagogue bent double by a spirit of infirmity for eighteen years. She could in no wise lift herself up. Any friend might have told her to stay home, she was too unsightly, too unwell. But she dragged herself to the place where Jesus was, and He saw her. He called her to Himself and laid His hands on her, and immediately she was made straight and glorified God. Her breakthrough did not come from a casting call; it came from being in His presence. I would urge you to seek His face with that same kind of holy determination, not only for the thing you want, but for the Healer Himself. When He straightens what is bent within you, you may find that the need to be seen by the world settles into a quieter, truer confidence.

And do you know? The Father runs toward those who come to Him with a faltering step. The prodigal was still a long way off, filthy and ashamed, when his father saw him and ran, ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him much. God is not standing at a distance with His arms folded, waiting for you to clean yourself up or to succeed in your plans. He stoops to meet you in your loneliness and in your scramble for something better. You can pour out all your nervousness to Him. You can tell Him about the bugs and the sun and the weariness. He will not brush you aside.

Now, as for productivity, you have asked for it. Here is a quiet word: the most lasting work is done not in a month on the television stage, but in a lifetime of hidden service to Christ. He who gave you a voice and hands has already set a little garden before you. There are seeds of kindness, of testimony, of simple faithfulness, that you can sow today even if you never stand before a camera. And those seeds, though small as a mustard grain, grow into something broad and sheltering. Do not despise the day of small things. While you wait, you are not idle; you are His. And His business is always blessed business.

I leave you with this: the One who was spat upon and mocked yet held His peace and trusted His Father, that same Lord Jesus lives to intercede for you. He knows what it is to be despised and rejected. He has borne the sting for you. You are not alone. Not in the phone calls, not in the disappointment, not in the loneliness. The Father is with you.

Let us pray.

Lord Jesus, we bring before You this dear soul who is tired of waiting and aching to be seen. Quiet the hurry in their heart. If it is Your will, open the door they long for; but more than that, open their eyes to the love in Your own face. Lift up the bent places. Heal the wounds that the world has left. Let them know, deep in their bones, that they are already known and already loved with an everlasting love. Be their companion in the lonely hours and their strength in the trying. In Your precious name, Amen.
