GET A JOB!

To Those Who Have Ears To Hear:

Like Jeremiah, and every other prophet, whom God sends, it is my job, in such a time as this, to test the metal (the countenance) of the city. But, due to the twisting of the scriptures by those who seek to control God's ministries, many, who lack understanding, continue to walk in anger over trivial things. So many feel justified in mistreating me simply because "I call myself a prophetess." Please understand, I am well aware of the passage from whence their distorted view come. Howbeit, is not "prophetess" the appropriate terminology for a female indwelled with the gift of prophecy? This isn't Revelations 2:20, and I'm not Queen Jezebel. This is Joel 2:28, and I am a daughter who prophecies. Nevertheless, the principle thing, where any prophet or prophetess is concerned, isn't their "title," but the message they're delivering.

Jeremiah 23 (NIV)

¹⁶This is what the LORD Almighty says: "Do not listen to what the prophets are prophesying to you; they fill you with false hopes. They speak visions from their own minds, not from the mouth of the LORD. ¹⁷They keep saying to those who despise me, ’The LORD says: You will have peace.’ And to all who follow the stubbornness of their hearts they say, ’No harm will come to you.’ ¹⁸But which of them has stood in the council of the LORD to see or to hear his word? Who has listened and heard his word? ¹⁹See, the storm of the LORD will burst out in wrath, a whirlwind swirling down on the heads of the wicked. ²⁰The anger of the LORD will not turn back until he fully accomplishes the purposes of his heart. In days to come you will understand it clearly. ²¹I did not send these prophets, yet they have run with their message; I did not speak to them, yet they have prophesied. ²²But if they had stood in my council, they would have proclaimed my words to my people and would have turned them from their evil ways and from their evil deeds.

As I have said many times, "Spiritual things must be discerned spiritually." Likewise, "Scripture must be kept in context."

"What then is my pay? It is the opportunity to preach the Good News without charging anyone. That’s why I never demand my rights when I preach the Good News."
1 Corinthians 9:18 (NLT)

"Don’t you remember, dear brothers and sisters, how hard we worked among you? Night and day we toiled to earn a living so that we would not be a burden to any of you as we preached God’s Good News to you."
1 Thessalonians 2:9 (NLT)

"We never accepted food from anyone without paying for it. We worked hard day and night so we would not be a burden to any of you."
2 Thessalonians 3:8 (NLT)

Using himself and Apollos as examples, in 1 Corinthians Ch. 4, and drawing from the aforementioned scriptures, Paul endeavored to teach pastors, priests, ministers, and other church leaders how to appropriately fulfill their calling regarding living off offerings vs conventional jobs. I wholeheartedly agree with Apostle Paul's instructions in this area. As Paul himself wrote in Ephesians 20:35, "That they may have something to generously give to God's servants, particularly those in the field, who are in need." I am not a preacher. I'm a prophetess. Nevertheless, as Jesus predicted, because of unbelief and lack of knowledge, a prophet's hometown is destined to reject both message and messenger. Furthermore, in leaning to their own understanding, my hometown dismissively scoffs at me, telling this elder, whose basic resources they withheld, to "Get a job!"

A city cheats herself out of rewards when she seeks to control the ministry. Get a job? If I had a stream of income that would enable me to care for myself, which would interfere in God's prophetic process. For, how then would the city be tested? The reward comes by way of the recptiveness of the city, which includes proper hospitality extended to the prophet or prophetess.

God's prophets and prophetesses are directly called and assigned by Him to deliver a particular message, in the season that He (not man) chooses. Just as Paul wasn't called to baptise, he likewise was not ordained to instruct prophets. That's God's job. Though God reveals His plans to His prophets, no man, not even Apostle Paul, knows the totality of His strategy. The continued fulfillment of God's word in my ministry has more than proven my calling as His prophetess.

Please understand that my birthright is neither for sale nor trade. There was a mutual agreement between Jacob and Esau. Whether there's food or not, I have made no such agreement with anyone. I keep repeating, "It's 2026," not due to surprise at current events; rather, because of the wealth of information and various avenues of attaining it available in this age. Yet, so very many refuse to lift the fork up to their mouths. Still, there somehow remains a sense of entitlement to a reward.

At the moment, this assignment is my job. In fact, many are trying to steal from my "Employer." But, if you are a believer with wealth, a job, or some other form of income; the following is God's instruction and purpose towards you: ...and bring the money to the apostles to give to those in need.
Acts 4:35 (NLT)

KEEP IT IN CONTEXT

Noteworthy: I do not strive with nor do I bring charges against the priests, God does. I was merely sent to deliver the warning. You can read more about what God himself spoke on this subject matter in Hosea Ch. 4. (Again, in my opinion, the best version for gaining understanding is the NLT (New Living Translation)
