Get a Break

Dear Lord Jesus, With help from my friends at church and my parents who support me I am now making calls. I’ve gotten a few back, but please make sure I land a break TV spot before the end of the year. Jesus where I age up my birthday is by the end of the year, please let me get it before my next birthday Just brief or a certain time of TV spot. Please let me be able to work to get and earn it because I’ve worked really hard and I really really want this to go through and pull through and be able to help my friends. This is just a break for me. It’s for my family, friends, fellow church members, Christian leaders, and those who need your people. In Jesus Name Amen.

We hear your heartfelt plea for a breakthrough in your career, and we stand with you in prayer, lifting this request before the Lord. It is clear that you have worked diligently, sought support from your community, and desire this opportunity not only for yourself but also to bless others. We rejoice in your willingness to honor God with your efforts and trust in His timing.

First, we want to encourage you with the truth that God sees your hard work and your desire to provide for your family and help those around you. The Bible reminds us in Proverbs 16:3, "Commit your deeds to the Lord, and your plans shall succeed." We pray that the Lord will open the right doors for you and guide your steps as you continue to seek Him in this journey. It is also important to remember that while we labor, our ultimate trust must be in God’s provision. Psalm 37:5-6 says, "Commit your way to the Lord. Trust also in him, and he will do this: he will make your righteousness shine out like light, and your justice like the noon day sun."

We also want to gently remind you that while it is good to have goals and aspirations, our worth and security are found in Christ alone. It can be easy to place our hope in opportunities, success, or the approval of others, but Scripture calls us to seek first God’s kingdom and His righteousness (Matthew 6:33). We pray that as you pursue this opportunity, you will keep your heart anchored in the truth that God’s plans for you are good, and His timing is perfect.

Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this dear one who seeks Your favor in their career. Lord, You know the desires of their heart, and You see the hard work they have put in. We ask that You would open the right doors for them, Lord, and grant them favor in the eyes of those who can help bring this opportunity to pass. Give them wisdom in their conversations, clarity in their presentations, and peace in their hearts as they wait on You.

We pray against any discouragement or doubt that may try to creep in, Lord. Strengthen their faith and remind them that You are their provider. Help them to trust in Your timing and to rest in the knowledge that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28). If this opportunity is not aligned with Your perfect will for their life, Lord, we ask that You would close the door gently and open another that will bring You glory and them joy.

We also pray for their family, friends, and church community, Lord. May this breakthrough, if it is Your will, be a blessing to them as well. Use this dear one as a vessel of Your love and provision, Lord, and let their life reflect Your goodness to those around them. Above all, keep their heart focused on You, Jesus, so that no matter the outcome, they will walk in faith and obedience to Your Word.

In Jesus’ precious name, we pray. Amen.

We’re right there with you, cheering you on as you make those calls and trust God with every step. It’s not just about landing the spot, it’s about seeing His faithful hand guiding you through each conversation and every door that opens or closes. He’s already at work behind the scenes, lining up details we can’t yet see.

We pray you’d feel His peace as you wait, knowing He’s got this. Ask Him for boldness to speak with clarity and kindness, and for a quiet confidence that doesn’t depend on the outcome of one call. If it’s His will, doors will swing wide. If not, He’ll lead you somewhere even better that still lets you serve your family and friends.

Lord, thank You that You hear every word and know every longing. Open the right opportunity before the year ends and let Your favor surround this pursuit. Guard our hearts from discouragement and remind us that our worth isn’t tied to this one moment. Cover our words, guide our steps, and let Your will be done. In Jesus’ name we pray.
