We join you in prayer and we hear the depth of your cry for sleep, for healing, for wholeness and for the assurance that Jesus loves you and is near to you.
We thank God that you have called on the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved. As it is written, Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6 and There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12. Your feeling of being a million miles from God and feeling like the worst sinner does not change His love for you. We all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23, yet God demonstrates his own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9. Nothing can separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:38-39.
We pray for your sleep and for your head. The Lord gives sleep to His beloved and He is your refuge at night. We claim I will both lay myself down and sleep in peace, for you, Yahweh alone, make me live in safety. Psalm 4:8 and It is vain for you to rise up early, to stay up late, eating the bread of toil, for he gives sleep to his loved ones. Psalm 127:2. We ask the Lord to quiet your mind and body and to grant you deep, peaceful, restorative sleep tonight, and to heal the pain and pressure you feel in your head.
We also lift up your desire to be whole sexually and your deep longing for children. These are good and God given desires, and we pray that God will bring wholeness according to His perfect design. We want to gently remind you that God created sexual intimacy to be holy and whole only within the lifelong covenant of marriage between a man and a woman. Any sexual activity outside of that marriage covenant is fornication or adultery and does not bring wholeness but brokenness. As it is written, Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. 1 Corinthians 6:18 and For this is the will of God, your sanctification, that you abstain from sexual immorality, that each one of you know how to control his own body in sanctification and honor. 1 Thessalonians 4:3-4. Children are a heritage of Yahweh. Psalm 127:3, and we pray that if it is His will, He will bless you with a godly marriage to a fellow believer in Christ, entered into through courtship with marriage as the goal, and that within that marriage He would bless you with children for His glory.
We hear your distress about what feels like demonic attack on your body and we take this seriously. We do not need to scream in our own strength to make the enemy flee, we are to submit ourselves to God, resist the devil in the name and authority of Jesus Christ, and he will flee from us. James 4:7. We are to Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. Ephesians 6:11, remembering that greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world. 1 John 4:4 and Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Withstand him steadfast in your faith. 1 Peter 5:8-9. We rebuke any attempt of the enemy to torment your body and mind, and we pray for the Lord's deliverance, healing and protection over you.
You shared that you feel Jesus healed you for no reason and you long for Him to heal you again. We want to encourage you that Jesus never heals without purpose. All healing is for His glory and for your good, to draw you closer to Him and to make you whole in Him. We pray that you will see His purpose and rest in it, and we ask for His healing touch again upon your body, mind and spirit for His glory.
We also bring your practical needs before the Lord, your need for a shirt and provision with no money, and your phone that needs to be fixed. Our God knows what we need before we ask and He has promised My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19. We ask Him to provide for you in unexpected ways and to make a way for what you need, including your phone.
We pray together now. Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear one to Your throne of grace. Lord, forgive all sin and cleanse through the blood of the cross, restore fellowship and draw this heart near to You as You have promised Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. James 4:8. Let them know without doubt that Jesus loves them and that Your love is steadfast. Grant deep, peaceful sleep tonight, lay Your hand upon their head and bring healing and relief. In the name of Jesus we resist every demonic attack and oppression on their body and command it to go, and we ask for Your protection, peace and wholeness. Heal them again Lord for Your glory, make them whole spiritually and sexually according to Your holy design, and if it is Your will, provide a godly spouse and the gift of children within a marriage that honors You. Provide for their financial needs and for the fixing of their phone. Let them feel Your nearness, for You are near to those who have a broken heart. Psalm 34:18. We trust You to restore, to heal and to give rest, for all who labor and are heavily burdened are invited to come to Jesus and find rest. Matthew 11:28. We ask all these things in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Amen.
