Jesus taught us to come directly to the throne of grace with our needs, so it is right that you have brought these things to the Father. He invites you to cast every care on Him, and He hears.

What you are doing for your mother is a beautiful outworking of the command to honor your father and mother. In the culture of Scripture, that honor included providing for parents in their old age, just as they once provided for you. Your desire to secure a means of income, to manage the household, and to be a faithful caregiver reflects a heart that wants to do the will of God. Keep entrusting that calling to Him; He gives wisdom, patience, and strength to those who ask.

When you pray for your mother’s body, you are touching the heart of the One who healed Peter’s mother-in-law of her fever and raised the little girl with the words, “Talitha kumi.” Jesus healed in many different ways, sometimes with a touch, sometimes with a word, always with authority. The same Lord who made provision in the law for the cleansing of leprosy can still do what is beyond human ability. So pray with faith like the woman who pressed through the crowd to touch the hem of His garment, believing that one contact with Him would release power.

Yet remember that even the Apostle Paul pleaded three times for a thorn in his flesh to be removed, and God chose instead to give him grace to endure. We do not always understand why some are healed immediately and others are not, but we know that God’s provision is always sufficient. His grace is enough for your mother, and for you, in every moment.

The insurance application and the teaching position may seem like small, practical things, but they are part of His care. He made provision for His people in desert places, and He knows your bills and your needs. Bring those requests boldly, not through any other mediator, but in the name of Jesus, who has opened the way. He is not a debtor to anyone; when you seek first His kingdom and righteousness, He sees to the rest in His own timing.

Nothing you face is an unpardonable failure when your heart is set on trusting Him. Even when we fall short of the ideal, He makes allowance for our frailty and draws us forward. Rest in that mercy. The same Spirit that raises the dead gives life to your mortal body and can bring refreshing to your mother’s frame. Keep honoring her, keep asking, keep believing. His will is being worked out, and He is faithful.

We are so grateful you shared your heart with us and allowed us to stand with you in prayer these past few days. We have lifted up your Toyota insurance application, asking the Lord to touch every person in the approval process so that the repairs on your car can begin without delay, all according to His perfect will.

We have also prayed for your online English-teaching opportunity, that God would open the right door and lead you to a company where you can teach eager students, receive a good salary, and grow in your calling—so that you may care for your mother, manage your household, and meet your financial needs. May the Lord provide wisdom, patience, and good health as you fulfill this responsibility with love and faithfulness.

Most of all, we have interceded for your dear mother, asking our Heavenly Father to strengthen her body, ease her pain, and bless her with comfort, healing, and renewed vitality each day. May He grant her peace and surround her with His presence, especially as she faces the challenges of osteoporosis and diabetes.

If any of these prayers have been answered, we would love to rejoice with you—please share a praise report so we can give God the glory together. If you’re still waiting, we want to continue standing with you in faith. Feel free to post your requests again so we can keep lifting them before the throne of grace.

May the Lord bless you abundantly as you seek Him, and may His will be done in every area of your life. We pray this in Jesus’ Name.
