Beloved of All
Trying to get this person help ASAP and he thinks I'm trying to flirt, what's wrong with these people these days and please let me wake sooner and in bed sooner need to work please Jesus. Amen

We hear your frustration and we join with you in bringing this before the Lord in Jesus' name. We understand how disheartening it can be when you are trying to help someone with sincere and godly intentions and your kindness is misinterpreted as flirting. In a culture that has sexualized so much of everyday interaction, pure motives are often misunderstood.

We are called to treat one another with absolute purity, as the Scripture says, Do not rebuke an older man, but exhort him as a father; the younger men as brothers; the elder women as mothers; the younger women as sisters, in all purity. 1 Timothy 5:1-2. When our intent is to help, we want to make our actions and words so clear and above reproach that there is no room for confusion, for we also want to let our light shine before men; that they may see our good works, and glorify our Father who is in heaven. Matthew 5:16. We encourage you to keep your communication clear, kind, and boundaried, and to not grow weary in doing good, even when others misunderstand.

We also hear your weariness about sleep and work. We know the struggle of wanting to be disciplined in our rest so we can be diligent in our labor. The Lord reminds us that It is vain for you to rise up early, to stay up late, eating the bread of toil; for he gives sleep to his loved ones. Psalm 127:2. And we are exhorted to look carefully how we walk, not as unwise, but as wise; redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Ephesians 5:15-16. God desires for us to steward our bodies and our time well, working heartily as unto Him. Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men. Colossians 3:23.

We also hear your question, what is wrong with these people these days, and we gently encourage you to guard your heart against cynicism and bitterness. The world is indeed confused because many are conformed to this world rather than being transformed by the renewing of their mind. Romans 12:2. Yet we are called to respond not with condemnation of all people, but with grace and patience, remembering that we too need grace, and to cast our anxieties on Him. In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7.

We lift you up together in prayer.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before You on behalf of our dear one who is trying to help another. Lord, You see the sincere heart to serve and to get this person help quickly. We ask that You make the motives and actions clear, remove any misunderstanding, and let this interaction be guarded in purity and wisdom. Give discernment in words and boundaries so that Your love is shown without confusion. We pray for the person who needs help, that You would open their heart to receive the help that is being offered and that You would meet their true needs.

Lord, we also lift up the need for rest and for work. We ask that You help our friend to find a godly rhythm of sleep, to be able to get to bed sooner and to rise sooner with strength and clarity. Establish good habits, quiet the mind at night, and grant deep, restorative sleep. Bless the work of their hands, provide opportunity and diligence, and let all they do be done for Your glory. Grant peace where there has been frustration, and replace weariness with Your hope.

We thank You that this request was brought before You in the precious name of Jesus, for there is no other name by which we come to the Father and by which we are saved. We trust You to answer according to Your perfect will. Amen.

We hear the frustration in your note, trying to do the right thing for someone and having it misread, and then also feeling worn out from not sleeping when you need to work. That is a lot to carry at once.

It makes sense you would feel discouraged when your effort to get help for someone is taken as something else. Sometimes when people are struggling they hear kindness through their own lens, and it is not a reflection of your motives. It helps to keep good intentions clear and bounded. Keeping conversations brief, in appropriate settings, and where possible looping in another trusted person or a local helping resource can protect both of you and keep the focus on getting him the support he needs, without you having to carry it alone.

We also hear how much you want a steadier rhythm for sleep and work. Wanting to be in bed sooner and up sooner so you can do your job well is a good and responsible desire. If sleep has been consistently difficult, it can be worth mentioning it to your doctor alongside prayer.

Father, we lift our friend to You, tired and trying to help well. Give clarity in that helping relationship, guard his heart from discouragement, and guide that other person to the help he needs. Give rest at night and strength for work in the morning, and lead with wisdom day by day. In Jesus' name, amen.

🙌 Lord's Prayer: Seek 1st The Father, His Honor Kingdom Will; Then Our Provision Forgiveness for Us, Others, Kept from Sin Evil, Standard, Matt 6:9-13...

📖 "Pray, then, after this manner... 🙌 ‘Our Father who is in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your Kingdom Come! Your Will be done, On Earth as it is in Heaven!”

<———--------——— ———(Selah)—————----———————>

🙏"Give us our daily bread. Forgive our debts, as we forgive our debtors. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For it’s Your Kingdom, Power and Glory Forever, Amen,” Matt 6:9-13, c.f., Matt 6:33, "But seek first The Kingdom of God and His Righteousness, then all these other things shall be added to you," thank You in Jesus' Name.

Your prayer is heard, and the Lord knows the desire of your heart to do good and to help another in need. It is a painful thing when an honest intention is misread, and kindness is taken for something it is not. Do not be greatly moved by this, for even those who love the Lord find that their motives are sometimes misunderstood by men, yet the Lord judges not by outward appearance but by the heart, and He will honor faithfulness to Him.

You do well to seek to help, and to do it at His word. When we work at His bidding we may labor through the night and seem to take nothing, yet at His word we let down the net again and look to Him for the blessing. Continue in that quiet, steady diligence, seeking to do good without seeking notice, and leave the interpretation of your actions with God, who will make your uprightness plain in His own time.

You also ask for sleep and for order in your work, that you may wake sooner and lie down sooner and be fitted for your labor. Remember that sleep, when it is healthy and sweet, is the gift of God to His beloved. He gives it not to the restless and the anxious who would carry all their cares themselves, but to those who learn to leave their cares with Him. What may be the future lot, high or low, concerns you not when you can say, what my God appoints is best. Seek then a quiet conscience before Him, commit both your work and your rest into His hands, and ask Him to keep your bed in peace and your waking hours in diligence.

We must not sleep as do others in the sloth of the soul, but we may and should receive with thankfulness the needful sleep of the body which God provides to restore us for service. To rise early and to be faithful in daily labour is itself a way of serving the King, for those who live with Him must work, and those who work for Him ought to live with Him.

May the Lord grant you wisdom to help this person in a way that is clear and above reproach, guard your testimony, and remove all misunderstanding. May He give you calm nights and timely sleep, and strength for each day's work, and keep you in peace as you trust Him.

We pray that the Lord will open a way for true help to reach the one you seek to serve, that He will keep your heart from discouragement, that He will give you refreshing sleep and an ordered day, and that all your labour may be done as unto Him, for Christ's sake. Amen.
