Kindly pray for me to stop gambling. I lost my entire life savings to this scam

We hear the pain and desperation in your request and we join with you before the throne of grace in Jesus' name to seek deliverance and restoration. To lose your entire life savings is a heavy and crushing burden, and we grieve with you over this loss while we also thank God that you have reached out and desire to stop, for that desire is the beginning of repentance and healing.
The Scriptures warn us about the love of money and the desire for hasty gain, which is at the heart of gambling. We are called to be faithful stewards of what God has entrusted to us, not to chase after wealth that vanishes quickly. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some have been led astray from the faith in their greed, and have pierced themselves through with many sorrows, 1 Tim 6:10. Be free from the love of money, content with such things as you have, for he has said, I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you, Heb 13:5. The plans of the diligent surely lead to profit and everyone who is hasty surely rushes to poverty, Prov 21:5. Gambling feeds covetousness and the false hope of getting something for nothing, and it violates the principle of diligent stewardship and contentment that God calls us to. We rebuke that spirit of greed and the deception that keeps drawing you back, and we urge you to turn fully away from it, for it will only bring further ruin.
We also noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to lovingly remind you that it is only through Him that we have access to God and find true freedom and salvation. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me, John 14:6. There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12. Without Jesus we remain bound by sin, but through faith in His death and resurrection we are forgiven, made new, and given power over temptation. If you have not already done so, we encourage you to confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, for with the heart one believes resulting in righteousness and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation, Rom 10:9-10. He alone can break the chains of this addiction.
God does not leave us without hope when we are tempted. No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it, 1 Cor 10:13. We encourage you to take that way of escape decisively. Remove every access to gambling from your life, delete applications, block websites, place self exclusions where available, and do not carry excess cash or credit that enables the habit. Bring this struggle into the light with a trusted pastor or mature Christian believer for accountability, for confessing our struggles to one another brings healing, James 5:16. Seek wise financial counsel through your church to steward what remains and to make a plan forward. Above all, replace the time and desire for gambling with prayer, the Word, and diligent work, so that self control which is fruit of the Spirit may grow in you, Gal 5:22-23.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we lift this dear one to You. Lord, You see the loss and the shame and the anxiety that has come from this gambling, and we ask for Your mercy and forgiveness. Wash away this sin by the blood of Jesus and break the power of this addiction completely. Give a hatred for this trap and a love for righteousness and stewardship. Fill the heart with contentment and trust in Your provision, and grant supernatural self control and strength to walk away and never return. We pray for Your comfort in this financial loss, and we ask that You would in Your grace provide for daily needs and open a path toward restoration through honest and diligent work. Lead to godly counsel and accountability and surround this life with believers who will encourage and uphold. We pray that this trial would become a testimony of Your delivering power, and that from this day forward this life would be lived for Your glory, seeking first Your Kingdom. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

Your request has been heard with sorrow and with hope, and we have carried it before the Lord in prayer.
You confess a heavy burden, that gambling has taken your life savings and left you ensnared. This is a pit indeed, and a power of darkness that holds a man fast. Yet we do not tell you to speak your griefs to the pitiless sea, for God’s ear is not shut. He hears the cry of those who are bound and He is able to work deliverance.
Know this, deliverance from the power of sin is as much the work of God as deliverance from the guilt of sin. It is not of him that wills, nor of him that runs, but of God that shows mercy. You feel, perhaps, that you can do nothing and you know it, and that very feeling is where free grace begins its work. He can do nothing for himself, and then he learns that deliverance is solely by the power of God. There is a higher restoration than recovery of what is lost in this world. God has not only invented a way of deliverance, but He has found a ransom, and that ransom is Christ Jesus His Son. Sinner, do not doubt your deliverance, for God has said, I have found a ransom.
We have prayed for you as we pray for Peter when he was down. Peter was down, but he was soon up again, not by his own strength, but by a look from the Lord who prayed for him that his faith should not fail. That same Lord Jesus prays for His people still, and He is able to uplift you from among the siftings where Satan has thrown you, to sever you from the crowd and from the company that draws you back, and to restore you. If you have wandered into this sin, you may yet be restored to become a stronger witness ever afterwards, to tell others there is no profit in wandering from Jesus, but there is peace and rest with Him.
We have asked the Lord to grant you repentance and faith in Christ alone for salvation, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved. We have asked Him to break this chain, to give you hatred for the sin and love for holiness, to set a guard upon your hands and your heart, to help you to cut off every provision for the flesh, to put away every access and temptation, to bring you into honest confession and into the fellowship and accountability of faithful believers who will walk with you, and to provide for your daily needs according to His wisdom and mercy.
Do not despair though your silver and gold are gone. Our deliverance in Christ is attended with true enrichment, not always as the world counts wealth, but with riches that cannot be lost. If the Lord brings you forth out of this pit, you shall live and declare the works of the Lord. What you have suffered can become a testimony, for if we had no troubles we would have less to declare. You can yet say, the Lord has chastened me sorely, but He has not given me over unto death, and you can tell others of His delivering grace.
Cast yourself wholly upon Christ. Confess your sin plainly to Him, trust His blood for pardon, and look to your heavenly Father altogether and alone for strength to walk in newness of life. He has delivered His people, and He will deliver you.
We will continue to pray that the clock of mercy has struck in heaven the hour of your deliverance, and that you may know experimentally that He has delivered us from the power of darkness and translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son.
