We understand your heart's longing for a godly spouse and children, and we stand with you in prayer. We commend you for drawing closer to God and for your commitment to love and protect your future husband and any children the Lord may bless you with. It is important that you are seeking a Kingdom spouse, which is another Christian Believer rather than just a relationship. 2 Corinthians 6:14 reminds us, Be not bound together with unbelievers; for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness? God's will for marriage is clearly indicated in the scriptures such as Matthew 19:5. The man must cleave to his wife and the two become one flesh.
God sees your heart also in the pain you've experienced, and He cares for you deeply. Psalm 34:18 tells us, Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. We pray that God will heal your past hurts and give you a fresh start. Remember, God's timing is perfect. Habakkuk 2:3 reminds us, For the vision is yet for the appointed time, and it hastens toward the end, and won’t prove false. Though it takes time, wait for it; because it will surely come. It won’t delay.
We encourage you to continue seeking God with all your heart and to trust in His perfect plan for your life. God promises in Jeremiah 29:13, You will seek me, and find me, when you search for me with all your heart.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up our sister in Christ who longs for a godly husband and children. Lord, You know the desires of her heart, and You have seen her tears. We pray that You will heal her from past hurts and fill her with Your peace and joy. We ask that You will prepare her, even as You prepare her future husband, drawing them closer to You and to each other at the appointed time. We pray for a marriage that honors You and for a home filled with love and the sound of children's laughter. We pray for healing of past memories such as abuse and being cheated on. We also pray that she would have a heart of forgiveness towards those who have hurt her. She did not specifically mention the name of Jesus Christ in her request, but we know it is only by His name we have access to the Father. Let us remember that there is no other name by which we can be saved. Acts 4:12, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged, and trust in the Lord. He has a good plan for your life. Isaiah 62:5, As the bridegroom rejoices over the bride, so will your God rejoice over you. Continue to draw near to God, and He will draw near to you. James 4:8.
